Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. I was RAISED to say please and thank you, to have respect for my elders, lend a helping hand to those in need, hold the door for the person behind me, say excuse me when it’s needed and to love people for who they are, not for what you can get from them. I was also taught to treat people the way I want to be treated... I believe the effort of working through an illness, a financial issue, or a parent's death are more important to a successful relationship than worrying whether or not the other person gives you instant butterflies... I don't care for what a person does for a living, how much money they make, or social entitlements to use for bragging rights. The superficial niceties to not impress me. I'm impressed when someone loves what they do because it's their passion, not a sign that points to them screaming "Hey! Look at me and see what I've accomplished!"
I say what I mean and I don't apologize for my beliefs and values. I respect different points of views about politics, religion, and the claim that hunting is really a sport, but at the end of the day I'm firm in my belief (unless aliens do actually land in Union Square will I believe in UFO's).
I'm considered "old-fashion" in my approach to relationships and general approach to life. And I'm fine with that assessment.
I enjoying laughing at myself, spicy food, intense, witty banter about politics, science, psychology, endless road trips, and spontaneous kisses.
I'm hoping to find a woman who I enjoy being with and seeing where it goes. If you're comfortable in your own skin and see no need to impress someone with superficial accolades but just want to enjoy someone's company, let's talk while kayaking the Bay.
Meet single man from San Francisco, United States. I have been unbelievably blessed in life with great friends and an awesome family. I enjoy traveling, sports and spending time with friends and family. I am new to San Francisco having moved here from NYC a year ago. I spent the past few years focused on work but I definitely realize there is more to life. I have a fulfilling job that I enjoy but hope someday to be in a career where I give back to the community more. I am looking for someone special to spend time with and with whom to grow and explore life. I am relaxed and my friends would describe me as fun to spend time and laugh with. I'm looking forward to meeting new people in the new city that I live in.
Date a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. Hello... thanks for taking time to look at my profile. Yes I may not smile much in my photos its because medical school does take way your smile. lol I do smile alot more in person....
How do I describe myself? I can first say that I am a very goal oriented peron. I have many ambitions that I have already completed and some I have yet to complete. I like to think of myself and caring individual, with a good sense of humor. I love to dance latin ballroom when I have the time. One thing that people have told me is that I am never boring... I always love to meet new people of different cultures that have a great direction in life. If you have more questions feel free to ask... Thank you!

Date someone special from California, United States. Music - Travel - Laughter – “lust for life.” A bit of Sinatra, the Beastie Boys, and Marcello Mastroianni... I was born in the Ukraine, grew up on the East Coast -- Jersey/DC, but you might wonder if I’m Italian. Moved to LA for almost 7 years, but made my way back East, living in DC for the last two years, then moving on to Boston and now San Francisco. I love film, music, travel. My taste in music is quite eclectic, and you will often hear me singing, whistling or quoting lyrics. When I am stressed you will find me at the beach clearing my head. I truly enjoy people, conversation, and am always up for trying new things. Spontaneity rules the day, but I enjoy just chilling out, listening to some music, going to a museum, going to a lounge or hanging out in a bar as long as they have flavor. I am a romantic looking for a subject of inspiration.--
-Ideal match---
She has a gentleness about her and radiates femininity and charm. Her beautiful eyes capture the room; she exudes confidence, We can talk about anything without missing a beat. She holds her own in conversations about religion, politics, and foreign film. She is spontaneous, curious and adventurous. We can go for quiet, intimate dinners or dance all night. We can travel together, share impressions and stay up with a bottle of wine discussing what we’ve seen. We can talk about how our day was, or have a silly conversation about nothing. She is passionate about her convictions, but she is open to other opinions and knows how to laugh at herself. Her personality is magnetizing. When apart from her, I smile thinking about her, remembering something she may have said the night before or a fun evening spent together.
Meet single man from California, United States. I'm a city boy who also loves the outdoors. On weekends, I like to take my dog out for a run and also enjoy rock climbing, biking, skiing/snowboarding, sailing, and hiking. I head up to the North Bay, Napa/Sonoma, Sierras, and Santa Cruz mountains often because I really enjoy the natural beauty of the bay area. But, I also love the city life and can't imagine moving to the suburbs anytime soon. The suburbs just cannot compete with the energy, diversity, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife that the city has to offer. I'm obsessed with great food and wine. I pride myself on knowing all the best places to eat in each neighborhood. And, yes, I have tried just about all of them! I realize just how lucky I am to live in this amazing place -- so I really try to enjoy it.
Date a soulmate from California, United States. I just got back from a quick vacation to Germany and Italy. I spent some quality time with my mom in Frankfurt, and happened to catch up with an old friend who was in town for training, and then I met up with another couple of friends on the Amalfi Coast. I'm not usually much of a beach vacation guy, but boating around Capri and Positano and jumping in the water now and then turned out to be just what I needed. There were also many antipasti, primi, secondi, and bottles of wine involved. If it were just me, there would have been a little more sea kayaking, hiking, and swimming as well.
Now I'm looking forward to my next trip, Argentina in the fall. It's time to start brushing the dust off my Spanish a little more seriously.
In between travel preparations, I've been getting settled back into San Francisco. I moved to Belgium for a year and then ended up spending six months in New York for work. NYC is probably my second favorite place in the US, but San Francisco just feels like home. I even love the fog and the wind. Not that it's perfect. The prevalence of mentally ill or cracked out homeless is sad, and the way people like to stand in line (cough, Bi-Rite).
But I have an awesome set of friends here, I love being able to get outdoors for biking/swimming/hiking/running, and the energy of the technology scene here is impossible to beat.
I want to meet a woman who's upbeat, adventurous, athletic, considerate, a good conversationalist, and ideally someone who doesn't fit in a particular box. Overall, I'm looking for something meaningful and lasting. In the meantime, dating's a lot of fun, too.
Meet a man from California, United States. i think this on-line dating profile creation thingy is making me dumber by the minute, but i guess i need to show some character if i hope to meet someone with unique characteristics and a curiosity about life.
i like to think i'm some kind of an inspired and insightful wannabe wordsmith wizard with a major in adventure a minor in sarcasm and a penchant for occasionally being brilliant, intriguing, introspective, caring, geeky, friendly, absurd and sometimes even a bit preposterous.
I guess like most people who are willing to admit it, I can be a walking paradox at any given moment at time. I can be totally off the wall at one moment and then dead serious the next, I want to travel as much as possible, but not so much for work. I try to go out for food and drinks as much as possible, but sometimes my comfy couch makes me decide differently. I work hard most of the time, but still like to be a slacker. I like to keep up with news, tech, pop culture and politics but don’t necessarily let the latest sound byte alter my perception and opinion. .
Some of the other things I’m into these days include: biking around the city, checking out new restaurants and bars, buying way too many records and wanting to check out as much live music as possible, using John Stewart and Steven Colbert as my main sources of news, searching for fun and random stuff off the beaten path and traveling whenever possible and being up for whatever else comes my way.
Date someone special from United States. Like to travel? Over the last few years, I have racked up my fair share of frequent flier miles. Some days are definitely better spent at home but some call for an amazing adventure out of town. I'm originally from the midwest and will always be a midwestern kid at heart. Family is very important to me. I am very close with mine. I can be happy living just about anywhere. I'm the type of person who tends to have fun, laugh and genuinely enjoy the people, place and activity-whatever or wherever it may be. I always hear the stories, but in the traveling I've done, I have never sat next to that someone on one of those long flights-hence I figured I would give this a try.
I believe life is all about the experiences, no matter how big or small. I thoroughly enjoy life and I try to have fun no matter what I'm doing. My friend once told me that I make travel fun-I can't remember if that was before or after I talked him into driving dangerously fast on the autobahn. ;)
I'm looking for someone who can enjoy and have fun at just about anything - whether it's a hike in marin, an amazing (or disappointing) dinner in the city, traveling, an exotic tropical beach, a trip to Tahoe or just a cozy night at home with a movie. Also, I'm looking for something more than just casual dating. I'm not looking to rush into anything, but if you are debating whether you ever want to get married or have kids, then I'm probably not the guy for you.
I'm a nice guy with some goofiness and a lot of adventure...a nice guy with an edge. Nice guys finish ???
Meet single man from United States. I am a very cheerful and positive person. I love life and like to have a good time. I always respond when I see that somebody feels bad and I try to help. I do not like to sit in one place, I prefer being active.
I am looking for my one and only man on this site. I do not want him to be a prince, but he should treat me as a real woman. I want him to be honest, loyal and to have a good sense of humor. I think that these are the main qualities of a real man. So, if you feel that you are ready for a serious relationship, you are welcome to write to me. I am waiting for your letter and for your thoughts.
Date a soulmate from United States. With my busy life schedule I think this would be a great way to meet new friends! After all, why limit the chance of meeting a special someone only with people that you have met in person? However, I'll be upfront and say that I rather be single than settle for someone just to be in a relationship. Here's a cheers to meeting new friends and letting chemistry decide where we go!
Here are some things I'm passionate about. For example:
-- Cooking (But I haven't had a reason to try lately. My skills might have diminished!)
-- Dining out (I used to own a restaurant!)
-- Movies (A good flick is hard to beat!)
-- Asian drama (I don't know... I somehow got sucked into it recently haha. Probably a short phase.)
-- Music (I've DJ in front of 4k people before, back in the days!)
-- Being semi-active (When weather permits, I like to bike to Golden Gate bridge on weekends... but sorry, I won't run a marathon, or even half of one!)
Something I really dislike:
-- I hate taking pictures. Whether I look good or bad, I hate that FLASH, especially the ones that trick you with a double or triple flash.
In terms of my personality I'm very easy going and a hopeless romantic at heart. I smile a lot and I'm a goof, outside of work. When I'm comfortable with you, you'll enjoy subtle witty remarks from me designed to put smiles on your face. I follow my heart and I have an entrepreneur mind. I've started several business -- some were hugely successful, some were not so successful. Now a days, I enjoy pursuing my career as a marketing manager and a project manager at a large tech firm. The daily grind gives me structure and I enjoy it very much. Live and learn... do now and never say never.
I'm hoping to meet someone here, who not only could become my best friend but also has good chemistry with me. Someone who can hold their own in a crowd, but also enjoy the quiet alone time at home. Someone who wouldn't mind having a beer while watching a game, but who can also throw on a dress and enjoy a glass of wine over occasional fine dining. Someone who is poised, but isn't afraid to be a goof. Someone who is generally optimistic and views the glass as half full rather than half empty. Someone who, to this day, still enjoy the girly girl things such as dressing up and cuddling up to Hello Kitty! Just don't be a total label-whore and I think we'll get along just fine!
Anyways, there is a lot to talk about, and I'm sure I've bored you with a typical profile updates. So please feel free to drop me a message and just say hi! I'm not good at writing to a total stranger online -- it just feels AWKWARD... believe me I've tried haha! Therefore, I don't expect any clever cliche lines from you either. A simple "Hi, my name is x, what's yours?" is Rockstar status in my books and a great way to start a friendship.
Meet a man from United States. I’m a down to earth guy who loves to make others laugh. My friends range from young to old. I enjoy entertaining as well as time alone. I’ve been self employed in real estate for over 10 years. I have a great job, and I’m currently continuing my education in marketing. I hope to apply to grad school next year.
I’m proud of my French Basque heritage and I’ve traveled to France and Europe several times. I hope to get to Ireland to discover my Irish heritage too. I stay fit with Bikram yoga, mountain biking and hiking. I enjoy cooking and wine. I love weekend getaways; I can check into a nice hotel or throw on a backpack and pitch a tent.
