I am obviously one of the older people on the site, and despite that I know it's intended to be a dating site (and a successful one, I personally took part in two weddings that resulted from meetings here), I also know that chemistry and age gaps and common interests are what either make or break our chances here.

I love geeks and smartypants and just can't stay interested in self-indulgent types. If you're part of the segment that believes that what you buy makes you a stronger or better person, I'm not your guy.
I also have a soft spot for actresses and artists. Interpretation is a gift, not a science, and that carries through to my appreciation for films and shows that inspire instead of just destroying brain cells and a little of our wallet.

I've participated in numerous sports over my life time such as snow and water skiing, tried surfing and some beach volleyball, and gym time with aerobics or weights. I've also tried snow boarding, but found I didn't like the bruises everywhere. I think it's important to be healthy. Don't get me wrong, I care a lot about these things but have to work at it like most people. I do great at times but mess up too!
