Being brand new to this whole “match” gig I went on a quest to seek out some guidance on the etiquette of these online sites. My friend is a female and we have been pals for years so I really do respect her option on this matter.
Firstly, I understand you get hundreds of emails. I don’t personally feel any rejection from not hearing back. With that kind of volume (I wish I had that problem) I completely understand your frustration in weeding out the kooks, liars, players and men that are just plain disingenuous in general. I will never be listed as any of those types of men.
Well, if you got through all this and your still interested please read on about me and what I enjoy and keep in mind it’s the truth and not a bunch of B.S.
I guess it’s time to finally put some gray matter towards this whole online experience huh? Well, as hard as it might be to spill my guts to potentially thousands of women out there here goes nothing.
To start, I’m a single dad and have enjoyed 90% custody of both kids for the past 12 years or so. My daughter is 23 and just graduated from Sac State. My son is now in the 10th grade and playes football for Mission Hills. Which is really no surprise since he’s fifteen, 6’4” and still growing like a weed? Yes, Albertsons, Costco and the football coach love me!!!
What’s important in my life? Family and friends are always number one. Matter of fact we still have family dinner every Sunday and attendance can range from 4 to 14 on any given Sunday. It’s really for our mom and all the kids but the food and the company can’t be beat. Yes, we are very close family and without any of that family drama that some families seem to experience from time to time.
I have a great career that even after 20 years I still love going to work every day. I’m at a point now that I don’t have to put in 80 hours a week so I do have more free time than I ever had in the past. I now have the time to find that special someone which is why we’re all here right? I was very skeptical of this whole online stuff at first but my sister talked me in to doing a profile and it’s been very enjoyable for the most part.
My pictures are all pretty recent. Yes, I know your thinking to yourself, geez this guy doesn’t look 50 at all. He can’t be a day over 40 but as hard as it to believe, it’s true. I don’t consider myself 50 either. I can still rip on a dirt bike and smoke most of the hot shot kids in the desert. Which by the way really pisses them off when we stop, I take my helmet off and they see I’m not 20ish with spiked hair and pants down past my butt with my hat on sideways.
What am I looking for here on Match? Someone that has a great sense of humor, secure, loves kids, dogs, and pets in general. Someone who treats people the way they would like to be treated and an all around nice person. I recently got two lab pups that are truly the best and actually smart. Sometimes I think they are actually smarter than I am.
Hockey lovers please apply..I work, travel and live for the Red Wings and will travel just about anywhere to catch a game.
