My oldest daughter is working at the Norwegian Consulate in Rio de Janeiro and my youngest daughter is studying for a Master at Berkeley (Cal). My personal interests (in addition to my daughters) are books, golf, outdoor activities (anything from walking in the forest/mountains, swimming in the ocean, cross-county skiing to just lying flat on my back on a beach). I also like to travel. In my work, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many countries but I'm still interesting in more travels with someone special.

I went to business school in New Hampshire and lived in Mass. for five years. I've been married twice and learned a lot from those experiences. I think everyone should have to get divorced before getting married! It might help us deal with our own issues and make a better choice for a spouse.
I've worked at my own businesses for most of my life. Software consulting and some real estate development. I have been fortunate in those businesses. I'm semi-retired and have time to pursue my hobbies and to give great attention to a relationship.
I'm easy going and kind, my dry sense of humor seems to always be “on”. I can find humor in the most serious of situations. I’m full of contradictions just like most people, sarcastic at times. I'm usually making fun of myself. Rodney Dangerfield was/is my favorite comedian.
I have always had what I would consider interesting hobbies. I learned to scuba in my twenties. I've had offshore race boats for 15 years. Although I can do without the usual alcohol soaked boating crowd. I'm a helicopter pilot and have had five different helicopters over the years.
I've been active in the animal rescue world for many years. I run my own non-profit private foundation providing grants to animal organizations that are making a difference in the animal rescue movement. Oh, and I have 6 rescue dogs. You have to "walk your talk"...lol
I like a woman who is warm and kind, loyal and committed, smart, and with common sense, passionate and uninhibited, active in her life , healthy and exercises often, someone who has hobbies, she has a network of girlfriends to spend time with and to support her, I also prefer a tall and slender woman, but aren’t married to that specific look either. I've been thinking about how I could describe the physical aspect of the woman I find appealing. After some thought I guess I would say that I am looking for someone who is in good shape, and actively takes care of themselves. Any "Junk in the trunk" is big turnoff for me.
Eventually I would like to spend time together daily with someone i date. It’s the little things we do together that really make a relationship special. Making dinner, or a deep conversation while we are soaking in the tub. Someone who likes to travel and has some time to do so would be nice. I’d like to live together eventually. Getting married a third time seems unnecessary at this stage in life, but once you find the right person and time has proved that to be the case, that could happen too.
I've done some therapy over the years and feel like I'm pretty good at understanding my feelings and interacting with a mate in a constructive and positive way. Hopefully you can too !
