Date a man from Agoura Hills, United States. So here's the thing. I've been in a committed relationship for 15 years, never strayed, hey, I'm a Taurus. I'm looking around. Wanting to see who's out there while I work on getting back on my feet and figuring out my way forward in this new life. I'm very stoked about it. It's like a whole new world. Never expected to be here, but really excited about meeting someone new.
That said, if I were to meet someone on here who has that certain something, that intangible, that moxie, that je ne sais quoi, well, who am I to fight the universe?
April 2011, after spending the previous 3 years trying to fix it in other ways, I had serious back surgery. It has changed my life, for the better. I'm totally pain free for the first time in 20 years and we're talking serious, knock you on your butt, pain here. Since then I've dedicated myself to getting my body back to where it was... 20 years ago. Ambitious? Yeah. maybe.
I love to Box, but just because I like to hit things, hard, and repeatedly, doesn't make me a violent person. I'm very much the opposite actually. As I tell my son "violence is a tool of the ignorant." Great workout though.
2 things:
1. This glass that everyone is talking about, you know, the one that is "half-full." How come I don't have one? I just drink from the hose.
2. Why would anyone want to lie either in text or photo, when trying to start a relationship or even making a friend? I mean, it's all going to go downhill from there.
I yam who I yam and that's who I yam! ~ Popeye
I'm a writer so I can be somewhat complex, but I'm also interesting and can make you laugh. I mean doubled over milk violently shooting out of your nose laugh. (there's an image to savor) A sense of humor is all about intelligence. I love intelligence. There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, more attractive and sexy as brains. Period. I really like people who can mentally and intellectually spar with me. It's not about being a "know it all" it's more about learning from others and broadening your knowledge base. It's possible to disagree without being disagreeable.
I'm not hard to get along with, but it can be difficult to hold my attention. Just being honest. I was told the other day that I'm "difficult to figure out." I replied "that's such a nice thing to say" All I got back was a blank stare, I don't think it was meant as a compliment.
Have an awesome son (9) whom I adore. I'm a kid at heart and he's a fountain of youth, so yeah, we get along.
Am 51, (why would I lie?) I look younger, act younger and have a love of life. I feel like I'm a student everyday and go out to learn something, anything! Sometimes I have the mind of a 13 year old (don't think acting like a teenager every once in a while is a bad thing), being a writer, it helps me see things in a different way.
Love music. My iPod(s) are packed with it. Love to listen to it, try to play it, sing out loud without prompting and will pretty much go to any live concert if you give me 5 minutes to take the dog out and put on some shoes.
The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance - it is the illusion of knowledge.- Daniel J. Boorstin
Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of incidents and meetings and material assistance which no man would have believed would have come his way. Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has power, grace and magic in it. - Goethe
Meet single man from Agoura Hills, United States. Are you here looking for love, like me? How many times have you actually been in love? Isn’t it interesting how sometimes love seems stronger than others. I believe it has to do with the amount of passion you feel towards your partner. Does your partner touch you in all ways? Does he excite your mind, your soul, your body and your passions. Does he accept you and bring out all the excited urges you feel.
Do you remember what that is like, when you have that intense desire after you are in love with him. It’s the most magical of combinations- love mixed with lust and passion. Stop and remember for a minute those feelings deep in your body? It’s intoxicating. Do you remember the last time that feeling arose in your body? That sense - that energy gripping your chest, the warmth of flushness in your face and sexual tension inside of yourself.
If you know those feelings, you and I share something in common, right now.
And all that feeling only gets better as you develop a life together. You share a life fantasy together and you love adventuring into the same mysteries. And you love doing it with passion and sensuality. Are we looking for the same thing? Are we looking at each other with the same desire for love, connection and intimacy?
I’m a rather rugged looking guy, who always brings a distinct style, confidence and moral balance. I am dedicated to my spiritual growth through love. I am a guy based in family love which makes the experience of romantic love a driving force. I am a psychologist who treats people with the most profound problems (existing within multiple ego states) but my clinical passion is teaching the art of intimacy. It even says so on my business card.
If you are looking for love with all the right places, let me know. If you want more than the mundane romantic relationship, we are looking for the same thing. If you are looking for that long term, committed relationship which motivates you to maintain that constant state of underlying excitement, which moves to having your breath taken away, I think we are on the same page. Are we?
Date someone special from Agoura Hills, United States. I’m a man who’s all about paying it forward and karma. I know who and what’s most important in life and try to never take anything for granted. I’m surrounded by amazing people, have a loving family and a successful career, plus I’m able to fulfill my passions. The only thing missing is sharing it all with that special woman who will not only be my partner, but also my best friend.
As a partner, I feel I have a lot to offer my potential match. I’m a man of integrity who is a hopeless romantic and a true gentleman. More than anything, I desire to find the one I feel an undeniable chemistry with and who’ll allow me to sweep her off her feet and compliment her world as she will mine. My ideal match will be a woman of good character who loves to laugh and has a zest for life. Like me, she’ll be family-oriented, intelligent, a kind soul, and someone who’ll always do the right thing—even if it’s not the most popular decision.
When it’s right, I think we’ll both feel it and things will go from there. I understand relationships take work, but I also believe they’re worth all the effort because in return you get a lifetime with the one you adore.
