Date a soulmate from Los Altos, United States. Open minded, down to earth, grounded with a good sense of humor would be some of the characteristics that describes me. I appreciate the simple things in life and enjoy spending time with my two sons (my top priority), family and friends, dancing and good food. I like to keep myself physically fit and spend time outdoors, such as hiking, fishing, and water sports on my boat. My adventurous side is traveling to exotic places, scuba diving, sailing, etc. I am fortunate to have a job that is interesting, challenging, and while it is demanding, I am able to find the right balance between life and work. I am considered to be romantic, warm and honest, but I will let you be the judge of that.
I have been separated for quite some time and at the final stages of my divorce. I am ready for a new chapter in my life, and looking forward to creating new friendships/ relationships.
If you are a positive person who is caring, romantic, loyal and like to enjoy what life has to offer, then you may be the one for me.
Meet someone special from Los Altos, United States. nice, pretty, honest, admirable, cute, good talker, listener, kind.. bla bla bla bla...companionship, fun loving, outgoing, and more more more, good looking, smart and intelligent. nice and enjoying meals.
Date single man from Los Altos, United States. I like to laugh, and love it when the people around me laugh. Life is so full of odd situations, unexpected twists and turns, and accidental irony that the opportunity is everywhere. I’m looking for someone who also laughs easily, enjoying the humor in everyday life. I don’t take myself too seriously, and like people who aren’t too stiff or concerned about what others think. I’m a playful person. It’s fun.
I’m energetic, and tend to keep busy and active. I enjoy being outdoors, and am thankful every day that the weather in the bay area is so pleasant. I do a variety of sports, at mixed levels of ability. I’m a strong skier and an good road biker, which are among my favorite activities. I run for exercise, but slowly, and not too far. I’m new to mountain biking (so far only flesh wounds). Hiking and walking are among the most relaxing things I can think of doing. If any of these activities are appealing, it could be fun to share them.
My daughters (13 and 16) are remarkably mature, sweet, and fun loving. I’ve had a lot of good luck in my life, but these two are by far my best examples. Yes, everyone thinks their kids are wonderful, but mine really are. Really!
I have a tender side, and am naturally helpful and caring. I actually like movies about people as opposed to explosions. I put a high value on the relationships in my life. I’m affectionate and romantic in a light hearted sort of way. I like to hold hands.
I’m not sure if “hobbies” is the right term for my other activities. Trying new things appeals more to me than perfecting a single skill, so there are a wide variety of things that I do relatively infrequently. I like to travel. Perhaps I’m getting soft, because I used to focus on adventure travel to unusual places, but now am just as likely to travel to Europe. I enjoy music, and like a very wide range of styles. I try to get to a few concerts each year, often at the Mountain Winery, which is a gorgeous place for concerts. I’m a bit of a “foodie,” and like to explore good restaurants. I think cooking can be a fun way to spend time with someone. I took some cooking classes, but my results are still a bit undependable. What I need is someone to practice with…
Looking forward to friendship, romance, and a lot of laughter!
Meet a man from Los Altos, United States. I am a steady stable guy who has a great job, I exercise regularly and I'm a single parent. I am interested in single ladies (including single parents who know what its like to have kids revolve around your lifestyle) but don't date often (or do not make enough time to do so) and would like to? I know how you feel. I used to take for granted things like traveling domestically or internationally, all recreational sports, hanging in Reno/Tahoe/Las Vegas, cabin trips, camping, romantic dinners out on the town, biking, hiking, salsa dancing, partying anywhere (e.g. L.A., Vegas, SF, Hawaii,...) etc. But even though I do those things less often, I equally enjoy being a parent. I am a college graduate, a software engineer and I like to workout. If any of the things that I've described about myself sound appealing to you then please feel free to send me a message. I am confident that a great relationship can begin from good, clear communication in writing so please tell me something about yourself for starters and let's see how things go from there?
Date a soulmate from California, United States. (I don't reply to winks so please don't bother)
I'm fit and fun searching for My Dream Gal. I'm a dad to two great boys and native to the San Francisco Peninsula, but know most of California.
I am NOT looking for a step-mom as my boys live with their mom in Los Altos. Nor am I a player looking for a one-night companion. Read on if this resonates with you:
I'm a former competitive swimmer, water polo player and bicycle racer. I am passionate about bicycling and enjoy it tremendously. I also enjoy hiking, camping, Scrabble, backgammon or reading a book in front of my blazing fireplace.
My cooking is excellent! I make a killer zucchini bread, B-B-Q, clean house, take out the trash and even run the laundry--however, I'm not very good at folding. Are you?
I like News of the Weird as much as News of the World. My mom friends say I look as good in cycling shorts as I do in a tux. Some say I'm the kind their mothers actually enjoy meeting. Really.
My pictures are recent, my age is true and I'm really divorced, not separated How about you?
NOTE: Please have a picture posted and live within an hour's drive. I have all my teeth, no criminal record, no DUIs, no outstanding warrants, no alimony, no tattoos and am not running from anything.
ABSOLUTELY no wackos, alcoholics, Russian brides or Chinese nationals. Grammar and spelling REALLY do count. Please, no rants about this. Seriously...on to more interesting things...like you:
ABOUT YOU
My Dream Gal has a GREAT smile, fabulous sense of humor and is pretty without being self-centered. People notice you entering a room as your smile and laughter enchant others. You probably drink alcohol, just not to excess.
You are physically fit and enjoy that in your mate. You can change from shorts to a cocktail dress and be there within an hour. You are conscientious and think in the positive. Your life is together, your personal baggage well-stored and you're ready to connect with someone who is committed to a MONOGAMOUS relationship. And, you like flowers.
You also shun cell phones and laptops at dinner, special events and, naturally, in bed. Need I mention the shower? You have time to develop a relationship because you're not too busy with "yourself," your children or other extracurricular activities. Plus, you like flowers.
If you're a hiker or bicyclist, all the better. Please let me know where you enjoy hiking or riding. If you read this far, don't be shy, send me a note we'll probably connect if you like my sense of humor so far. Is this you?
Tell me, what kind of flowers would you like when we meet? I enjoy them all.
Meet someone special from California, United States. Hello! I’m a transplant to the Bay Area that just LOVES this California weather! It allows me to indulge in my outdoor activities such as Inline skating (rollerblades), cycling (road and mtn.), skiing, camping, and skydiving along with many more too numerous to list. I am always open to try new ways of staying fit and having fun at the same time. Moving to the Bay Area has opened the doors to all sorts of ethnic restaurants in which I truly enjoy sampling, especially after a good movie since I am a dyed-in-wool cinema buff. Viewing over 100 films a year is the norm for me, seeing almost everything from the Hollywood–formula stuff to ALL the Independents and sometimes even the weird/bizarre ones! Though sometimes I wonder if I am using the film just as an excuse to eat popcorn....guilty pleasure?
My musical interests range from “da Blues” to Beethoven, Zappa to Tony Bennett, Spyro Gyra to the Sex Pistols. But when it comes to winding down at the end of the day, nothing beats a glass of wine and some smooth jazz by the fireplace. Ahhh, life IS good! Would you care to join me in any of the above?
