I prefer a good book over T.V. but if I sit down to watch something, it will probably be old Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Bill Maher or something on MSNBC. I challenge myself to keep fit and would like to find someone who likes to work out, maybe even together. I enjoy most anything outdoors.... sports, hiking, bike riding, a nice round of golf. Anything close to the beach is good by me.

I have two great sons that I enjoy very much. They live with me part time. We are very close but they are becoming so independent that I find I have more and more time to myself.
My ideal match would be someone who is attractive, takes care of her mind and body and knows that happiness starts with #1. I'd like someone independent, secure, driven, empathic and conscious of what is happening in our world. Someone who is not entitled and isn't into a bunch of drama. I consider myself spiritual, not religious at all. It would be great to find someone who I can't keep my hands off of and is a great source of inspiration.

Meet a man from United States. I was a full time single dad since my youngest of 3 was four, amd my main focus was raising my kids. Now my two daughters are in college, and my 18 year old son is almost done with high school. It's my time now.
I'm somewhat anxious and apprehensive about the online scene I admit, but I am ready to find a sincere, mature and romantic relationship. I am a hopeless romantic to be sure, loving the little touches; giving cards and notes, leaving a single flower in a place you're sure to find it, having a favorite meal fixed and ready for you, planning a weekend away together. I genuinely get pleasure out of giving, and having the effort appreciated.
As you can tell from my photos, I'm into motorcycling. If you haven't experienced the sites and sounds and smells of our beautiful state (and country) from a motorcycle, you should at least give it a try. As the advertisement for Honda said a while back (70's I think), "You meet the nicest people on a (Honda) motorcycle".
I'm a Navy veteran and proud of my service. I'm also proud to be involved in honoring and showing appreciation for our current service members and my fellow vets.
I enjoy the outdoors. I love the ocean and the beach, boogie or bodyboarding by day and bonfires in the evenings. I have travelled the world (literally) at sea but never on a pleasure cruise. I was in the Navy for 12 years, and as much as I loved just being at sea even then, I long to someday enjoy a pleasure cruise with someone special. I enjoy boating when I get the chance, and kayaking in the harbor. My newest favorite water activity is paddle boarding. I have always enjoyed camping, from doing it in a RV when the kids were younger, to "roughing it" with whatever we can fit on the motorcycle more recently.
I really enjoy a night out at a comedy club. I like clubs with karaoke, but I must admit I'm just a spectator. I've only been at the microphone once, and that was at a class reunion with old friends and quite a bit of "encouragement".
I like food. I'm not a bad cook myself, especially on the grill, and I like quite a variety when eating out. I like to try different cultures foods, and there's not much I don't like. My favorites (besides a great steak on the grill) are probably Mexican and Italian. I love a good curry, and an "Americanized" gyro.
On TV I like "Hawaii 5-O" and "Criminal Minds" a lot. I've always liked "Two and A Half Men", "King Of Queens" and "Everybody Loves Raymond". I very much enjoy an evening playing boardgames, especially Sequence, Life, Scrabble and Yahtzee. I don't do as much of that now though since my second daughter went off to UCSD, and my oldest at CSLB are more into some beer pong?! game.
I am extremely proud of my kids. The girls are doing great at school and their part time jobs. My son is such a volunteer at church and in the community, I find myself having to restrict him from some of it to keep him on track with his school work.
Well I guess I managed to describe myself a bit. What am I looking for? You! I know you're out there. Someone that is open and honest. I'm a good communicator. I'm looking for my best friend. Someone to share my/your day with. Someone that shares the same family values I do, immediate family and extended family. I would never have made it as a single dad without the support of my family. I know I am capable of giving unconditional love. I am looking for that person who will not just appreciate that love, but give their's to me. I want to fall in love. I want to feel those butterflies. I want to wake each morning next to you as we grow and experience life together. And I want us to have fun doing it!
