Date someone special from Calabasas, United States. A little history: Born and raised in Boston (to this day a loyal Red Sox fan). I've been an inveterate vagabond having moved from NYC --Boston--Austin--Miami--Chicago--Santa Barbara--finally to Los Angeles. While I miss the density and grit of the east, the open friendliness of the Midwest and nothing about south Florida, I'm liking it here just fine. Who I am: You could call me a technogeek or computer nerd and not be far off. I'm a Mac but am good friends with PC. It was part of my first job in architecture back when screens were green and drives were floppy, and it just never stopped. Damn, now I've got three screens on my desk. And we thought computers were for saving time. I also love science and discovery, especially if it involves blowing stuff up. Mythbusters! I have to be convinced with actual facts, I don't go on faith that anything is true. Vast conspiracies are good for a laugh but nothing more. I'm interested in politics and I'm a Rachel Maddow progressive, if you get what that means. I probably get my most kicks (when I not on Route 66) from music. I've got a significant music collection and it grows almost daily. I'm into new music, old music and everything in between. With SXSW and Coachella past, a road trip to summer festival might be a fun diversion. For a urban guy, I sure like the outdoors. I'm fortunate to have the Santa Monica Mountains outside my doorstep and I hit the trails whenever I can. I used to ski competitively and played soccer regularly. I really enjoyed watching the World Cup last summer. The homelife: I've also got the greatest almost middle schooler who challenges me on a daily basis. He keeps it real. He's a low maintenance kid. On the other hand, it is our crazy beast of dog who demands all the attention. About you: Patience and compassion are essential ingredients. I don't expect perfection but you should be wicked smart, funny and willing to try anything once. If you've read this far I'm hoping you want more. Let's start a conversation and see where it goes. Maybe I won't have to go the whole wide world after all.

Meet a man from Calabasas, United States. I'm easy-going, emotionally and financially secure, healthy, with a good sense of humor. In my travels I've enjoyed learning about new cultures and making new friends. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, BBQ in the backyard, dining out, music, movies, watching and attending sporting events, exploring new places, reading, walking my dogs, travel, and golfing. I'd like to find a low drama/baggae woman with similar interests that enjoys quiet evenings at home as much as going out.
