The treasure that I seek is that long sought companion that I have searched for all these years. Are you searching for the same thing? Let’s first start with the prize. I asked a married woman friend of mine to describe what she thought of me:

This is the treasure that I seek… I am looking for that person who will put a smile on my face each and every day. This will come from her wit, her adventuress attitude, her gentleness, her love for those she does not know, and of course for her love for me. She should be mature, but have a playful heart. It is great to be silly at times. She would want to go out and see the world and explore different cultures. She would be kind and compassionate to all and truly understand the meaning of brotherly and sisterly love. Upon seeing someone in pain, she would at the very least, have the utmost compassion for him or her. Her love for me should be similar to the love that I would have for her. We would be equals, but would do anything for one another. Commitment and honesty would not be words, but daily actions. The love would be free flowing, like a gentle brook, always fresh and rejuvenating.
Even though I am a happy man already, if I were to find this treasure, I would be ecstatic. I would be like the little child watching the Macy’s 4th of July regular fireworks display and then seeing the finale. My heart would explode with joy.
