I've done plenty of different things in many places and don't intend to. stop now. I have the most beautifull, preciouse, 8 year old twin girls that I absolutely adore. They live w/ my ex-wife who I have excellent relationship with. My girls spend every other weekend w/ me, and I try to see them as much as I can and I am very involved in their lives.
After living in a cute small house down town Los Gatos for a couple of years I decided to quit paying rent and bought a 36 foot sail boat on which I now live in Capitola. I lived on an Olive Ranch for the last 8 years prior, and still spend time and work at the ranch often. I'm planning to move back to Los Gatos at the end of September, and trade commuting time for exercise.
I take my work seriously, but I make sure to ta Planning toke the time and enjoy life.
I love company and the outdoors. I enjoy Mountain Biking, Running, Hiking etc, and it's available everywhere in this area.

My sons I go to many NBA NHL games, w/a few NFL MLB games thrown in there. (Luv my Hockey! I'm Canadian) We never miss the NBA AllStar Game no matter where it is. Love the shows-offs. So I'm not too interested in meeting a guy who doesn't enjoy at least some sport. If you're not into Sports, seriously guy? I did mention Manly Man, eh?

I've hated it so much that when I was in college (20 years ago), I dropped the mandatory English class (which required 5 papers), waited until the summer, signed up for a local community college English course (only 2 papers), and transferred the P/NP grade!! Ingenious!
I bring this up because I've read volumes of profiles and they are all starting to sound the same. It feels like a stretch to describe myself in a way that is unique and stands out from others. This activity is challenging my writing skills! Regardless, the English class example is very characteristic of my style; if I'm not happy with something that needs to be done, I'll figure out the least painful way to make it work!
I grew up in the Bay Area, went to school in Los Angeles (UCLA), and returned back to Northern California where I have lived here my entire adult life. My family is nearby; I have 6 nieces and nephews who treat me like a rock star. I love spending time with them - taking them to some class, watching a performance, or just hanging out. Sleepovers are precious, as I realize at some point they are going to outgrow this.
I have a "corporate desk job" which allows me to work from home. Given this arrangement, I could easily go 5 days without leaving my house! Instead, I try to get out of the house everyday - either doing some type of workout (mt biking, road riding, rock climbing, playing volleyball), seeing friends, or hanging out with my family.
I was hesitant to do the online "thing", only because it is another activity that keeps me at a desk and on the computer! I decided to put myself "out there" online because I've realized that despite being surrounded by close friends and family, I want to share my life with someone special.
I'm looking for someone who is well-grounded and comfortable with who he is. Confident. Mannered. Courteous. Has his own hobbies and interests, is willing to share them and learn others. Communication is important, as when we grow old, talking/joking/laughing together in each other's company should be satisfying enough without so many other activities.
