I was born and raised in East Orange County and have three great and active kids, who I love and see most days, though they live with their mom. I've coached my 13-year-old boy in football, baseball, and basketball, and will soon coach my 10-year-old girl in basketball. My 8-year-old girl is my dainty cheerleader (and you should see me coach that).
I played on the offensive line at Cal (known as Berkeley in academia) but think I look more like a former tight end, given my height and not-as-big-but-still-sizeable build.
I am not looking for a woman with whom to travel the world. I prefer road trips and weekend getaways and aspire to see the Grand Canyon for the first time, with my kids (and you?).
I am looking for a real woman, who enjoys our public displays of affection but has sufficient confidence to independently mingle at gatherings. Because I am tall and like to dance, I prefer a not-short woman, who seems even taller, because of the confidence that she carries.
My woman needs to easily laugh and have a competitive spirit. I enjoy games (e.g., cards, board games, billiards, darts, horseshoes, etc.) and consider poker a sport.
Must love dogs. Though I currently have no pets, I liken myself to a dog. I'm not above begging for attention and accept being told "bad dog," without losing my loyalty for you. Just don't rub my nose in it. (Smiley face with a wink.) I don't have fleas but keep back-scratchers in my car, at my office, and near my bed, like I recently started doing with reading glasses.
I appreciate a "divorced / never married / widower" rule, i.e., "currently separated" not good enough, that I've come to learn. Please know that my divorce is imminent. I moved out in February 2011, and filed my petition for dissolution, last year. We mediated our divorce, with the same judge that married us, and have a working stipulated judgment that should be completed and filed in the near future. So, you may want to "pre-order" me now. (Might be the dumbest thing I've ever written.)

I think for myself and don't follow the mainstream. I trust my feelings and knowledge rarely get distracted by noise and hype.
I lived most of my life in India and have been here for 11 years now. I love Southern California, its beaches, the weather and the people. It is great place to find all that I am excited about.
I love dressing up for Halloween and my favorite dress-up was for the "Jersey Shore" team at my office with tattoos, necklace and cool dark glasses. The fist-pumping was fun.

The first things people usually notice about me: They tell me it's either my smile or laugh, another option is my butt, lol. And for some reason I get props for driving a stick shift, who-knew! lol - but I just traded that for a Subaru Forester, and yes, I miss it, lol
