First and foremost, I value my family. I have 2 children, both are graduated from college (yes, I am a proud mom). You might say my work is done as a parent but it never really is. With the kids all grown, I have plenty of free time on my hands.
I work hard and play hard. Vacations and weekend get aways are very important to me. I take at least 1 destnation vacation a year. I love to travel. Some of my favorite tropical paradises - Yucatan Pennisula, Turks & Caicos, El Nido Palawan, Hawaii, Ixtapa. While there, I lrelax on the beach with a mix of adventure - snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, site seeing. I also enjoy exploring other countries - basking in its culture, enjoying local cuisines, and exploring the sites. I am an avid bowler. I bowl in a league and from time to time I'll join tournaments. During the winter, skiing is my choice of sport. I am not an expert but I can get down a blue run in one piece. Don't get me wrong I am not always on the go, I cherish and enjoy the peace and serenity of home life too. Baking is my passion, candle lit dinners are my specialty, curling up on the couch to watch a movie or read is my idea of relaxing, and spending quality time with that special someone...well that goes with out saying. Also, I like to entertain with family and friends.
My friends and family say that I am a beautiful caring person inside and out. I am dedicated, passionate, kind, gentle, nurturing, and loving. I am young at heart and I have a zest for life. I always put others first, that is just my human nature. I have a successful career in the technology field and I am looking for someone who's supportive of that not intimated. I have an infectious smile and I love to laugh and have a good time. I am not about drama. I am in a place where life is too short to play games. I am easy going and down to earth. My style is fashionable, tasteful, and classy but I do love my jeans and t-shirts.

One of my good guy-friends told me that I should want someone who wants me NOT someone who needs me. Great advice. I always pick men that NEED me- I am looking for someone instead who WANTS me. When my friend said that, a lightbulb went on! I want someone that puts as much as I do into a relationship. Being equal in support, friendship and understanding is a goal everyone should have.
I am honest to a fault, always believe in doing the right thing and hate trying to describe myself- maybe I should have my daughters do this part. That probably wouldn't be a good idea- my oldest would simply say that I have a great butt! LOL
