Date someone special from United States. I just moved back to the Bay Area after 9 years in Denver/Boulder and I'm thrilled to be close to my roots again. I have a very adventurous spirit, so I'm having a lot of fun exploring and getting reacquainted with the area. While I live in the South Bay, I often spend several days a week in San Francisco and absolutely love it.
If there's one thing I've learned in my short time on Match it's that there's really no use in long, drawn-out email exchanges. I'm a much bigger fan of grabbing a glass of wine or cup of coffee and seeing if there's chemistry. That said, here's a Cliff's Notes version on me to give you some frame of reference: I'm a business owner and while I am passionate about what I do, I place a high value on healthy work/life balance. My all-time favorite thing to do is travel, so that's something I really look forward to sharing with someone. Second to that is eating out or trying new recipes in the kitchen - I love to cook. I'm an amateur foodie and a big fan of farm-to-table restaurants and all things organic/sustainable (also a big part of what I do). Although I'm not a vegetarian, I'm a bit of a health-nut and a total green juice-junkie (don't worry, I won't force it on you). My job keeps me inside a lot so I like to get out after work/on weekends: hikes/trail runs, the beach, farmers markets, etc. I grew up riding/training horses so I enjoy the outdoors and I'm a huge animal-lover. Finally, I'm a bit of a dichotomy: I believe equally in heels and hiking boots and I wear both frequently (often in the same day). I enjoy well-planned four-star foreign adventures just as much as random weekend road trips. I love the ocean and the mountains and I just can't choose between them. And finally...let's just say my sense of humor doesn't always match my girl-next-door appearance.
What I'm looking for: A man who knows (and is comfortable with) who he is, who has a passion in life and a general sense for what he wants to contribute to the world. I'm a huge fan of a guy who can take the lead and be a gentleman, but also one who isn't intimidated by independent women. I'm looking for an equal. I know how to be happy...I don't NEED someone in my life to fill a void. But I WANT someone in my life to share with, laugh with and love with. The laughing part is really key...I can't think of a better shared bond than the ability to laugh together through the little stuff and even the big stuff. Plus I'm a bit of a goofball, and goofballs are always better in pairs.
Finally, I'm a big believer that a good relationship should be about adding to one another rather than completing each other. If that belief resonates with you, I would love to hear from you.
Meet a woman from United States. About me...I love yoga, good food, good people and most anything active. I grew up in a big family (the 3rd of 4 kids), out in the country, near the Davis/Woodland area. I studied nutrition in college, and currently work in this field with the at-risk adolescent population throughout the bay area. I enjoy most any active hobbies/sports that I've ever tried, and have typically excelled in those areas that I've developed a passion for.
I spend most of my extracurricular time doing these things: at my yoga studio, gym, trying to cook more (since I only cook for me :-P), teaching yoga (new teacher), friends (small circle of friends, quality over quantity), family (not as often as I'd like, they don't live close), trail running, hiking, trying something new, on my deck, in my hammock, reading/laptop, trying to learn things that help me grow as a person and make me better at everything I do. My friends would describe me as happy, spontaneous, adventurous, down-to-earth, and that I have a big heart. :-)
A few qualities that are important to me in the person that I would ideally like to date... a good honest and genuine personality, affectionate, good communicator, has a good heart, educated/smart, athletic and/or enjoys the outdoors, and is just fun to be with :-) ....but realistically I know no one is perfect and those are just a few that would be nice. :-)
Also, if you don't hear back from me, please don't feel bad. I think it happens to most anyone who's tried online dating...no need to take it personally.
Date men and women from United States. I'm new to this so don't hold it against me...
I’m not going to lie, it’s a little odd to write about me’ but I’ll try it out and you can let me know how I do…
I was born and raised in Cali. First 10 years in SoCal and the remaining has been in the Bay Area. I’m an only child but don’t hold it against me – I’m not spoiled by any means – my mom did a great job of keeping me grounded! I’m a goofball who loves to laugh (even at myself) and I’m looking for someone else to join in the laughter. I’m not into people that play games (monopoly ok – mind games not so much). People that take themselves too seriously make me laugh and sometimes roll my eyes. I love spending time with friends and my family comes first. I have a 3 year old son and he’s truly AMAZING! I once read a quote that said “Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things” – exactly how I feel!
As you can see from my pictures, I have naturally curly hair though I do straighten it from time to time. It tends to throw people off but that’s the fun in it I guess. I like nights at home with good food, good wine and great company and also like to get dressed up and head out on the town (though it may require a shopping trip). Speaking of shopping – I would rather go to a Giants, Niners or Sharks game then step foot in a mall. Some friends would probably say I’m a hopeless romantic, but I just want someone who wants to be with me and only me – end of story!
So…if you’re not bored by now or if you have any inkling to send a message, do it – guess we’ll never know till we try!
Meet a soulmate from United States. I am enthusiastic & outgoing but an extreme klutz. I moved to Cali a little over a year ago and grew up in the Midwest. I have lived in Southern Cali, NYC, Raleigh and multiple places in the Midwest.
I love to travel and find someone to travel with while still enjoying everything the area has to offer (aka Tahoe, wine country, ocean). I work hard and play hard so quite frankly I am looking for someone to keep up with me :) At the same time dinner at home can be just as much fun as getting out as long as the company is worth it.
I am also looking for someone that is willing to trust, is trust worthy, willing to take a chance and to be a true partner without losing each otherРІР‚в„ўs personality. In short, someone who is looking for a companion and an equal to compliment each other.

I'm looking for someone that's honest, 'easy going', and can be real.

Meet someone special from Los Gatos, United States. I am cute, smart, and independent. I am seeking a mature man who has his own passions in life and will share some of mine with me! He must be gentle with his words and intelligent. I would like someone who knows about medicine, but whose entire identity is not built around the study or practice of medicine. He must want to live near the ocean in the future and travel with me to a couple third world countries to give back. I want someone spiritual, but not a spiritual nut. He must love his family and be open minded to accepting other cultures.
