Meet men and women from California, United States. OK, this is really an interesting concept, trying to catch someone's interest this way... but I am a writer, so no excuses. Here goes...
I've published books on Notre Dame football, the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys and Michael Jordan. I am only a fan of one of those three teams. I have also ghost written books on Amy Winehouse and Eminem. And I was a contributing author to a book called Power of the Dog, which is all about the amazing things pooches can do ... detecting major illnesses, working with autistic kids and sensing harm to their human companions. I also write those little two- or three-sentence blurbs about players that are on the back of Topps sports cards. As for my day job ...
I used to be a sports writer and have done a little on-air work for an NBC affiliate in Florida. Now I do consulting work for a major power on the Web and don't know a lot of people here yet, as a newbie Californian. But I love it here. I spend a lot of time running in the mountains of Marin, playing a little acoustic guitar and singing. I'll open my sliding glass door and sing a little louder next time, if you might want to hear iffy renditions of the Avett Bros., Counting Crows, Fratellis, Manchester Orchestra and the like. Oh, and the Beatles. They have a lot of songs that sound good on an acoustic. Even when I play 'em.
