I come from a Cajun family and enjoy cooking a few family Cajun recipes or BBQing for friends. Don't worry I didn't grow up in a swamp. I moved out to California from the Chicago area over 10 years ago after college. By the way, no you don't find too many Cajuns from Chicago.
Okay let's continue with the resume, I'm a bit on the humble side so I'll keep this simple. I'm well educated and have a successful career in the tech industry and I'm now financially secure. I'm a confident, nice gentleman. I have a high degree of honesty and integrity (no game player here). I also have a humorous side and can be one of the funniest guys you've met once you get to know me.
As for what I like to do, well anything really. Let's go out on the town. We'll eat at a great restaurant and catch a show, perhaps dancing or a movie. We can just hang out and enjoy an afternoon or evening where I can get to know everything about you or take a spur of the moment road trip to, well, anywhere. I've travelled a bit for work and pleasure (France, China, Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean...) and would love to meet the right person to join me on future adventures to the South Pacific or the Mediterranean. I enjoy hiking and biking. I enjoy exploring nature as well as different cities and cultures. I also enjoy simple things like driving along the coast or just cuddling with a special lady while listening to the ocean or watching a movie.

She should have a confident and positive attitude on life and want to meet a caring man. I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot with previous jobs that allowed me to travel quite a bit. I spent 20 years in hi-tech and had the US and Canada as my territory. I was able to visit 40 states and most of the great white north. This past year I decided a change was needed. I now work for a local construction company and am enjoying the new learning exerience. I'm also able to work for one of my best friends and with an incredible group of people.
If you have traveled for work you know that it's not what everyone thinks. A lot of hotel and conference rooms. I would love to be able to go back and see a lot of the places I've been and "experience" the cities I've visited. I've have been to Asia, Europe, Mexico, Central America, but would be up for revisting them or seeing the rest of the world. Weekend trips are also something I more than look forward to.
I think of myself as a good person and aside from my family and close friends I can probably come up with a few references that would also agree. (If you ask for references please provide at least 1 week so I can make sure the payoffs are made)!
