Sometimes there is no better comedy then when we can laugh about some dumb stupid things we did or have happen to us. It usually starts with, “… there was the one time…” and then the story ends with a great laugh and more memories.
I recently lost 30lbs and am on track to lose more. Exercising 4-6 times per week, no red meat, no processed foods, and clean eating habits have changed my life. I used to eat out almost every meal for years, but now I cook over 90% of my own food! A year ago today I would have said that could never happen, but it did. Life is so full of so many sweet unexpected surprises.
Most people I meet and hang out with do not exercise; some eat out all the time, smoke, drink, and party late on weekends. I love my friends to death, but damn, sometimes I wish I could better motivate them to care more about their health…
I think now is the time when I say “…my friends say I am…blah blah blah…” Who cares what my friends say anyways?! I enjoy doing a lot of things, what really matters is the company I am with. Even the DMV could be fun if I was there with someone I liked. But that could never happen right? I am comfortable and confident in my own skin. I know my vices and I know what needs improvement in my life. Its called setting goals and ambitious, get it? I truly believe that the best years of my life are coming and will be full of laughter, awesome physical/emotional health, great company and of course sweet unexpected surprises.
