Date a man from Santa Rosa, United States. Hi! I just moved into town from over the hill in Calistoga. I've lived in Santa Rosa before, but I don't really talk to many of the people I used to know. I'm looking to meet new friends and hopefully find something more in the process.
Meet single man from Santa Rosa, United States. i am a pretty quiet person until i get to know you. when i am out with my friends i am more outgoing but shy when it comes to meeting and talking to new people. i would like to date someone that isn't too worried about what people think, to be able to have fun no matter where you are.
Date someone special from Santa Rosa, United States. i'm a pretty laid back type of person. I can sometimes be quiet because I'm used to being alone a lot and not talk to anyone and other times I can be pretty dorky and goofy, especially when I've had a little to drink. I am always a happy drunk.
i'm usually at home working on digital art, listening to music, and just kicking back while watching tv shows and movies.
Right now im working at the airport fueling planes and working part time for a friend as a graphic designer.
its easier talking to someone with the same interests or hobbies. someone who enjoys movies, listening to music and going to concerts, likes to draw or other forms of art, the list can go on. someone with a sense of humor is a must and likes to try new things.
The type of person I'm really looking for is someone who is a geek like myself. Someone who is a movie buff, plays video games, can reference tv show quotes and someone who would be down to go to conventions like Comic Con or PAX. I'm not one of those obsessed geeks who has to collect everything that I can and I don't have a huge library of comic books. Lets just say I am no where near like the characters on the Big Bang Theory.
Meet a soulmate from Santa Rosa, United States. Don't have an active account email ausmara by way of google.
Originally from Bakersfield, CA. I've been in Santa Rosa since around age 7. Anytime anyone hears that I'm from Bakersfield their first reaction is "Ew, Bakersfield?", yes, Bakersfield.
Kick back, always calm and collected. Not much gets to me and people seem to like that about me.
Enjoy traveling, although I've only seen Vegas and Hawaii thus far, as well as other parts of California.
I don't judge people based on their likes/dislikes/beliefs. Everyone has to be a little different, even in a relationship. Pretty open to ideas about anything really. I get along with people form all walks of life.
Willing to try pretty much anything new, at least once. If I have a bad experience with it I may try it again just to see if it was a one off.
I'd say I'm hoping to find a friend first, and see if it develops into something. I don't expect to find an instant relationship, and I would hope that's not what you're after either. I would actually enjoy getting to know you first, see if we have things in common. I don't expect anyone to have the exact same interests as me, that would be boring. Having a few similar interests is nice though.
What I'm doing with my time:
Spending time with my friends, and family as much as possible. Trying new things, learning from experiences, putting myself out there. Just looking to switch things up a bit.
Working a bad job, looking for a better one. Going back to school soon to get A certified for computer repair. And trying to travel a bit, at least inside the US until I can plan a big trip. Eventually want to visit Japan, Liverpool (and the rest of England), South Korea, and Russia.
I’m really good at:
Listening, being patient, and just generally nice and understanding. Like I said above, not too much gets to me. I get along with a variety of people of different faiths/beliefs.
Sports, I've always been athletic.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food:
I don't read very much, although I should. I just haven't found anything interesting. Need some recommendations. The last book I read was Neuromancer by William Gibson, pretty old.
Favorite TV shows; House, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Fringe, Community, The Daily Show and Parks and Recreation.
Movies I watch almost anything, although horror movies are my least favorite genre. I usually prefer not to watch them if possible. I have no clue as to why, I just don't get into them I guess.
Love Italian food, and sushi.
Musical tastes change a lot. I listen to a lot of different genres, and I guess it depends on my mood what I play. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Matt and Kim, the paper chase, Radiohead, Aesop Rock, Despot, El Ten Eleven, The Octopus Project, and Tool.
The six things I could never do without:
In no particular order:
Friends
Phone
Family
Music
My Computer
Love/Respect
I spend a lot of time thinking about:
Thinking about the future...relationships, marriage, kids. None of those are necessary, but I do think about them. I think about meeting the right woman quite often also. Finding someone that makes me want to be a better person, who gets me to enjoy things I might not normally and hopefully I can do the same in return.
On a typical Friday night I am:
With friends, or just relaxing. Occasionally I hit a bar up, but it's not an every weekend thing.
I'm more for hanging out with friends/people in more intimate settings.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit:
Deathly afraid of heights. Not sure I will ever get over it.
I can be shy at times, but once you get to know me you'll find I open up.
I can not swim
Looking for someone who understand that it takes work to make a relationship work. But first and foremost a friend. Someone that makes me enjoy things I wouldn't normally try.
