Date a soulmate from Studio City, United States. Dry sense of humor, 'arid' is probably a more appropriate adjective. Yeah, I'm pretty deadpan. In fact, I don't even enjoy laughing. Okay, I'm pretty sarcastic, but only in the most endearing way.
I've traveled quite a bit, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and can share some pretty colorful stories about the places I've been and the people I've met. My experience and extensive travel/work in these foreign lands has greatly shaped my perspective on life.
I like taking risks and being bold. Don't confuse this with being reckless, but life doesn't come to you. You have to go out and get after it.
I am well mannered, a firm believer in saying 'thank you', and not one to take people for granted.
I am very active and am looking for someone else that is also athletic that enjoys working out; I run a gym, so again, I like to work out.
Roller derby, small venue rock concerts, and group bike rides (big or small) through downtown are cool things to do in LA. I'm not into the bar scene and would rather hang out at a dog park all day, or for as long as my nose could stand the smells. Oh yeah, I don't care for the beach, too much sand and it's always crowded.
I'm looking for someone with similar interests, values, with a willing attitude that enjoys being outdoors. I am very attracted to confident women. If you're a public radio listener, even better. And if you're a public radio contributor, then I might just have to propose.
Meet a man from Studio City, United States. Hello there! I'm currently in the process of moving to LA. Originally I'm from Washington D.C. but have been living in purgatory for the last few years in the I.E.. Can't wait for the change of scenery! My life pretty much revolves around being active in one way or another. No matter what's going in my life I'll find something I physically active I can do no matter what the circumstance. That and maintaining my GPA pretty much have dictated my entire life for the last few years. I have a B.S. in exercise science. I am starting the ISP program at Southern California University of Health Sciences this fall to fill in the last prereq pluggs I need before I apply to Physical Therapy school at CSUN.
Clearly I am a very physically oriented individual but that doesn't mean I am also not very cerebral. I don't view the world through the eyes of a dualist. I'm very global and wholistic in nature and appreciate and value the physical as much as the cognitive. I have an innate thirst for knowledge and understanding, I highly value education, and have been known to take on the occasional artsy-fartsy hobby.
I'd love to meet someone who has an interest in health and human performance, but it's definitely not a requirement. I'm generally attracted to the educated, those who are good conversationalists, are light hearted, have a good sense of humor, don't suffer from dramaqueenitis, can see beyond the face value of things, creative thinkers, musicians, quirky personalities, etc.
My favorite place is to be is anywhere out doors. I love the beach, mountains, desert, forests, lakes, rivers, whatever, I'm a total nature boy. Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, running outdoors, camping, climbing, kayaking, just taking in the scenery. love it. But ironically I also love the metropolitan excitement of the city. I was born and raised in DC after all. But Socal is one of the few places in the world where you can have both at your finger tips. I'm also into live music. Nothing beats a good purge session at a righteous show. It's been a while though. Definitely over due for a concert induced rage fest.
That's all I got for now.
Adios.
