Meet a girl from Loma Linda, United States. I am a positive, upbeat person, constantly challenging myself to try new things. I have been described by friends and former supervisors as kind, diplomatic, methodical, idealistic, and "an outside the box" type of problem-solver. I attempt to inspire myself as much as possible, whether that means having stimulating conversations, reading new books that change my worldview (e.g., related to spirituality, quantum physics, psychology), or exposing myself to new activities/events in my community.
My new life philosophy is to try at least 1-2 new experiences every month. As a result, in the last year some of my new experiences have included: learning tai chi, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, meditating with Buddhist monks, attending a writerРІР‚в„ўs group, dancing in Hollywood, finishing a 5k run, and trying this site. When IРІР‚в„ўm not trying new things or spending time with family and friends, I am a full-time doctoral student and therapist (I feel this is my calling in life). My work keeps me really busy, so I end up devoting a great portion of my time to my academic and professional goals. However, I do my best to stay balanced and make time for friends/family and special events on the weekends.
I would love to be with someone who shares some of my interests, who I can have stimulating conversations with, who I can laugh with, as well as someone who I can inspire and who inspires me.
