Date someone special from California, United States. I am very passionate about helping and empowering others. I am a volunteer chair of a non-profit organization in OC and I'm employed as a department chair for at a private non-profit school. This has given me so many opportunities to give back to a cause that I deeply believe in. My professional interests lie in the remediation and support of developmental delays and the treatment of social and behavioral deficits in children, adolescents and young adults.
A mentor/ co-worker once told me that I'm a powerhouse... I've never been called that before but all I can say about it is that I have always been my own biggest critic and best competition- we should never stop growing and challenging ourselves.
I have a love for the outdoors and anything that involves me being on the move. Coffee. Yoga. Traveling. Hiking. Exploring. Music. Running...even in heels. IPAs. A challenge. Inspirational people.

Meet a girl from California, United States. I grew up in Dallas and moved to San Diego for eight years after high school. I???ve been living the dream of a girl in her 20???s for the past several years... moved back to Dallas about a year ago which I found to be a mistake and already made my way back in Southern California! I appreciate a guy who treats me like a lady, has views on all aspects of life and values all his close relationships with the people in his life.
About me... I've lives in OC for about a year and am new to Dana Point. I am loving Orange County and have met some great people, but I have a whole lot of exploring left to do. I have a lot of energy and always surround myself with fun and outgoing people. I am always out and about on the weekends and like to (try to) keep things pretty mellow on the week nights... but I am the first to admit that I tend to give in and go to happy hour for a couple of glasses of wine come Thursday. On weekends, I love going out to fun dinners, going to bars, going to the beach or laying low and relaxing... and I am always down for and encouraging road trips. I thoroughly enjoy good company and people who don???t take themselves too seriously. I???ve done a lot of pretty cool things in my life and I???m looking forward to doing a lot more. I hiked Half Dome in Yosemite a couple of years ago and have gone skydiving twice, just to name a few. I love skiing, hiking, traveling and being a beach bum. I am drawn to the beach and mountains equally. I have family in San Diego, Dallas and Rayong, Thailand and love going to to visit them. I am insanely close to my family, which consists of two brothers, two sisters, a dad, a mom and a stepdad. I haven???t had the chance to explore much of Europe which is something very high on my to do list ??? I???m looking for someone to do that with me. I love to laugh a lot and like to think I make people laugh pretty easily, too.
I prefer cooking over baking, dive bars over clubs, skiing over snowboarding, sarcasm/humor over seriousness, beer over liquor, heels over flats, cooking dinner at home over going out (most of the time), early mornings and early nights during the week, early(ish) mornings and late nights during the weekends, being together over being apart, dogs over cats, taking risks over playing safe, shorts over pants, bathingsuits over works suits, Christmas over any other holiday (4th of July battles with it every year), pasta, sushi and Mexican food over any other... just to name a few.
