Date someone special from California, United States. I'm trying out match.com for the first time. I don't think I'm looking for love, but I wouldn't be opposed to finding it. I keep myself busy with work and volunteering for my daughters baseball and soccer teams. I'm surrounded by couples, and dating hasn't been a priority, but I'd like to find one person who's idea of a good time is similar to mine.
I love gardening, and eating the fresh fruits and veggies that I grow. I have a hen who lays eggs for me everyday, and 8 chicks, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a gecko. Healthy living is very important to me, and I don't find chemicals appetizing. I love baseball... and bbq's, camp fires, and hiking. I go to the gym 3 times a week with my girlfriend, but I'm certainly not the gym's biggest fan. Playing team sports and being outdoors is more my thing. When I have free time alone I like reading, decorating, and cooking. I love documentaries, but comedies and suspense and actions flicks are all a close second. I like getting dressed up and going out as much as I like getting dirt under my nails and wearing down my sneakers, and just as much as I like relaxing by the beach and taking a nap. Cuddling on the couch isn't necessarily my idea of a good time. I like a good debate, and I like it when someone catches me with my guard down.
I want to meet someone who sees life as an adventure, and wants to go on a few with me. I'm almost always honest and polite, and I respect people who are straight-forward and well-mannered.
