As far as interests are concerned, I'm in school studying dance, psychology, AND interior design.. so if you want to talk about projection and sublimation, pirouettes, and matching throw pillows count me in! Meet someone special from San Jose, United States. Recently one of my best friend asked me what were the top five traits that I'm looking for in a man. I didn't know how to respond at that time because although the question may have seemed simplistic it made me think about it more intently. This is what i came up with:
1. Character- I want him to know what he wants. I want him to be genuine. He needs to be authentic and real; one who doesn't play games. I want him to say what he means and act on what he says. I don't want him to say things that he thinks I want to hear. I want him to be comfortable under his own skin and be confident in a humble way. He shouldn't feel a need to show off and he should feel comfortable for who he is and what he has. He needs to be kind to others and not just to people he wants to be associated with. I want him to be open-minded and worldly.
2. Adores me- I want this person to adore me for who I am and who I strive to become. I want him to chase me and see me as the woman of his dreams even with my flaws. I know I'm not perfect but I know that I try to be a better person each and every day with everyone especially my family and friends.
3. Kindhearted/ Generous- I want someone who isn't frugal with his emotions and time. This person needs to be as generous with me and my family as he is with his own because I'd naturally do the same.
4. Same Expectations- I like to live life moment to moment and this means that in the course of getting to know this person I want to go with the flow. If something more serious evolves than I'd be open to the idea but I'd like to take my time to find a compatible companion rather than rushing into something and getting stuck.
5. Attraction- We need to naturally make each other laugh. I need to be attracted to him physically, intellectually, and spiritually. By the way, the way a man carries himself in a fitted suit is so sexy ;)
Of course, this is just a list. I'm not going to live by it but it is a starting point from where I like to start.
