Date a soulmate from California, United States. I don't know what to say at this moment. Not really sure about this or anything else for that matter, but I hope I be able to find some one who I can share some interests with. I don't expect much. Very respectful, open to different ideas, love a challenging conversation, reading different types of books. Not much of TV watcher. Like to spend most of my time outside.
Really like to go out for a walk or hike on weekends (which I do almost every weekend). Absolutely love traveling and even more than that love to walk when I'm traveling, yes I have some high mileage on my legs. Enjoy solving puzzles. My favorite sports are soccer and then kayaking however I'm not really good at them as much as I like to be.
Oh by the way I really like to laugh as well.
Meet someone special from California, United States. There are two things about me that you (yes you who is reading this) should know. First is that I love traveling. Being about to occasionally wake up and breath the air another part of the world keeps my mind fresh and happy. Second thing about me is that I like things the good old way, especially in a relationship. Emails and texting are cool and all, but they cannot replace the simple hand writing of letters. I believe there are certain elements required in a romantic relationship, most of them have not change since my parents were dating.
People would say that I am easy-going, and fun to hang out with. I am positive and optimistic who always look at the glass half-full. I work hard but also find time to enjoy life the best I can. I like to explore new things and hobbies and it would be even better if I can share the joy with someone significant.
I'd like to look for someone who has a good sense of humor, open-minded, and good at heart. Someone I can sit and read books together, spend an hour or two on the dance-floor shaking butts together, or converse sincerely together.
Date a man from California, United States. I'm hopelessly nerdy, but without all the social awkwardness and hygiene problems. I should add that at no point have I ever lived in my Mother's basement...or any basement, now that I think about it. Not that I have anything against subterranean dwellings; living in a hobbit-hole would actually be rather awesome.
I suppose I should be describing myself instead of extolling the virtues of alternative housing methods. I consider myself to be quietly confident — I'm not much of an extrovert, but I'm easy to talk to, and always ready to give an opinion, whether we're discussing the true meaning of Alice in Wonderland or the best way to describe the color purple to a blind person. Interesting conversation is the greatest gift of daily life, and for that reason I'm drawn towards thoughtful and highly opinionated personalities. What fun is it if we agree on everything?
I love seeing the world, and intend to do a great deal of exploring over the next decade (next up: a four country European adventure in September). I genuinely enjoy museums, art galleries, plays, operas, concerts, lectures, etc...anything that can expand my knowledge or stir my emotions is usually worth experiencing. Not all of my hobbies need to be so involving; sometimes I enjoy a quiet night watching my TV shows, playing videogames, or sipping dirty martinis while enjoying the Dodger game.
As for what I'm looking for in a woman: Intellectualism is sexy, but chemistry and physical attraction are every bit as important. I have a weakness for petite body types (I'm slender, so it just seems to match better). My favorite type of person is the one that will say yes to a night out before she even knows where we're going (bonus points if you're willing to try restaurants where we can't pronounce a single thing on the menu).
Meet single man from California, United States. Hello I'm mew to match, and omline dating. So Be easy on me. I'm an American male, big open book. I love my culture, and def love other culture. I'm also a real fun guy, so I hope you are as well. Other than that, let's do this.
Date men and women from California, United States. I really have no idea what to say here. I've been around for 29 years now and have a lot to say about things. It would probably be a lot easier if I was younger! :) I would also have more hair and the hair I do have would be less grey. I try not to take things to seriously and this self reflection stuff may be too much for me after a long day at work, I'm sure I could write a great description during work hours but the powers that be at work have decided I have more important things to do at work than update my match.com profile and have blocked this site and any other website worth looking at. Tragic.
I'm a working professional and I've been in my career for 7 years. It has it's ups and downs but keeps me busy and the bills paid. I also have a beautiful 19 month old baby girl who means the world to me. There's a lot more to me but I like to live by the moto that less is more.
I'm looking to meet new people and maybe more. Have fun and discover new places. The most important thing to me is not to take life too seriously. I try to laugh at most everything. The more inappropriate the better. Other than that I really get along with a wide range of people.
