Writing about myself is not the easiest thing for me to do but I'll do my best to give you some insight into who I am. Being outdoors (especially in the mountains)gives me energy and feeds my soul. Given the opportunity I would hike every weekend (hoping my little one shares my love of hiking when old enough). Needless to say I spend a lot of time with my little one at the park, museums, dancing, cooking, and playing any game she can think up.
Who am I, well, I am an extremely loyal friend who will walk through fire for those I love. An energetic woman who enjoys cooking, fine dining and cozy tasty neighborhood restaurants (which is where I eat mostly these days). I moved from Chicago 6 years ago and love living in the bay area. Some of my SF/bay area favorites - great jazz, hiking at Mt Tam Yosemite, skiing Tahoe Kirkwood, Ferry Building Farmers Market, Copo Loco Gelateria (Mission), Chrissy Field, and GG Park. I guess you can say I am a foodie.. I love to cook! I can create some delicious food, from what I hear I make some good wantons with cilantro coconut chutney that people always remember. I have an amazing garden that I planted and try to grow what I eat.
As for work I am a fashion photographer and a photo art director/prop stylist in the Bay Area and Seattle. I am happy to be working in an industry I enjoy and can be creative in while I support my two kids and myself.
Who I am looking for to complete my life, I am looking for a confident, successful, passionate, driven man. Have been to South America, Europe, Jamaica, Mexico about a thousand times, Canada, love Hawaii, but now am dying to see, well basically the rest of the world.
Love the ocean, was a life guard in college, expert water skier and still love being in any water where it's warm.
Have always been a great skier but my actual time on the mountain is getting shorter and my time being the first to save the bar stools at end of day is getting longer.

Since I have a lot more free time now, I like to attend events in SF such as Sailing on the Bay (Groupon), The Academy of Sciences Nightlife, concerts at small venues like BimboРІР‚в„ўs, or The Fillmore. I am not adverse to Nightclubs, Dance Clubs or Bars. I love dining out in the city too. My new yearРІР‚в„ўs resolution is to hit as many of the top 100 restaurants as I can this year. In the winter I snow ski as often as I can mostly at Bear Valley or Heavenly. During the summer I love to camp and water ski. I have been to Burning Man 3 times, not sure when I will go again. I have travelled to Greece, Guam, Hawaii, Scotland, dove the Great Barrier Reef & Cozumel. I have also travelled with in the continental US. I hope to hike Half Dome someday soon as this has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I would love it if you would join me. I did forget to mention I also love the formal theatre, attend many plays and musicals in the city. Les Miserable should be next.
I lie relatively low during the work week. My work is pretty demanding; but I never work a minute of overtime. Occasionally I will rent a movie, go see a movie or just read a book (fiction). I do take good care of my body, I run, do yoga & cycle on the weekends. . I was born and raised in San Francisco (the city) and, while I've enjoyed living in other parts of the world and US, it's nice to be back home. It's been said that I'm both serious and fun, funny, savvy and a creative thinker (I think) who likes other creative thinkers, interesting conversation and the company of warm-hearted folk. I'd say I'm a mix of down to earth and playful. 'm a loyal friend and affectionate partner (with an affectionate partner). Some of my favorite things to do include my daily yoga and meditation practice, qigong, walking my dog, reading, drawing, cooking. and dinning out, kirtan (yes, a bit hokey, to some) and spending time with friends.
