Ran my first 5k in the last year. My 10 year old son beat me by 4 minutes (and still won't let me forget it). We have run a few 5ks together since then. I also completed the 60 mile 3 day breast cancer walk last November. A friend asked me to walk with her. It was an amazing experience and I am hoping to do it again this year.
I want to be with someone that can't wait to see me, makes me laugh and we enjoy just spending time together no matter what we are doing. Seems fairly simple don't you think?

What makes me unique...I'm me. I'm a goof, yet serious when needed. I sing in the car, badly at that. I'm learning to live for today, not yesterday and not tomorrow. I love to cook, too bad I don't have anyone special to cook for anymore. I love live music.....pretty much most music, except country. I love to travel and hope to do more of it. I've been on my own for two years now, lost my husband to cancer. We had a great time together, but I am ready for my next chapter in my life. I have a daughter that is 19-in college and pretty independent, so my time is mine. Getting back in shape, its momma's time to shine. Love zumba, pilates, walking, hiking, biking and video game workouts. Been working in the trade show industry for over 20 years and love it. Grateful for a great life, nice home, even better friends and family. I am pretty liberal in my thinking, but do have a conservative side on a few issues. I miss the love, the giggles, the highs and lows. I was born in So. Cal and can't think of living anywhere else. I'll take a dive bar over a pretentious club, an ice tea over a drink (exception: a great sangaria), a Cuban restaurant over any restaurant that serves you more food than any one person could consume at a single sitting (exception: a good NY-style deli), dark chocolate over milk chocolate, stylish over trendy, culture (Europe) over climate (desert), and a matinee over a packed theater. I enjoy cooking, especially if it's for someone else. I'm thoughtful and generous to a fault but never want to feel taken for granted. I'm easy to please. I love to travel but don't always get to do it as often or as long as I'd like. I enjoy most sports, particularly baseball and football.

I spend too much at Home Depot these days and now have their app for my phone! Just about done with the home remodeling! Not my fave, but got to take care of the house. I love theater and live music. Went to the Lenny Kravitz, Otzomotil, Lila Downs and waiting for Madonna and Mana concerts this year. I travel for work quite a bit. A pretty easy schedule by my standards as I am home based. I've traveled to Europe, South America, The Carribean, Hawaii and looking to do Italy soon.

Laughing, being silly, cooking, technology, my job. I'm not good at singing, but do it anyway. Even worse at video games, but like them anyway. Golf not so good, but I pack a mean cooler bag.

My eyes, my big eyes. ..........then my smile. My skin and hair....thanks mom and dad! I always smell good.....a hint of vanilla.

I love a good escape romance novel, comedy, theater, live music-latin with a beat. Fancy restaurants to gourmet food trucks. Bull Durham and Gross Pointe Blank two of my favorite movies. Tv shows..... Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Gidget..... Check out Stuffed and Unstrung - you will understand my sense of humor!
The six things I could never do without
My family....frustrating at times, but they are always there for me as i am there for them.

My comfy bed....its the best, sleep by number - complete with a featherbed.
My yoga pants....black of course.
Avocados.....you can eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
