I live in a funky little cottage on 5 acres and take care of it, three Mustangs that I gentled and trained myself, a dog, and a cat by myself. I own my own truck and trailer and can back it up and drop it in tight spots without freaking out or breaking anything ;-p. In fact, I kinda like it.
No life is perfect, and mine is far from it, but I have endured, survived, and overcome more in my life than most people could fathom, and God has brought me to this blessed sanctuary and to a very good place in my life where I have come into the light once again. It is time for me to start enjoying life, on my own terms, and with someone who will treat me with the respect and kindness I deserve.
I have been told that I am one of the kindest, most soft-hearted people you could ever know, but do not mistake that for weakness. Please see above. I am strong, independent, can take care of myself, my responsibilities, and my loved ones, and am so very grateful for the life I have now. I love the life with which God has blessed me now in this sanctuary with the animals who bless my life and make it so very rich.
Animals and especially horses, are very much a part of my life, are my companions, and define who I am, and because they are so much a part of me, they should also be to the man with whom would become a part of my life.
I am deeply faithful, but I am not a bible thumper and I do not attend church. For me, God is out there in the pasture with the blessings He has brought into my life. You will not hear me preach at you, but you will hear me praise God regularly for the gifts with which He blessed me once I finally shut up, slid over to the passenger seat, and let Him drive.
I am a financially, emotionally, and mentally stable, reliable, loving person with a wicked and twisted sense of humor, and I would love to find that counterpart with whom to eventually share it all. Life is good. No, actually, it is darned near fantastic. But while I don't need a man to lean on, it sure would be nice to share the sunrises, sunsets, stars out in the pasture, working with the horses, rides at the lake, trips to Pt. Reyes, camping; the peace of this precious life; the joys, the beauty, and even the ups and downs of life, with someone special.
Non-negotiable: If you have kids you are still raising, if you are married, separated, in the process of divorce but not divorced yet, or/and still have an ongoing relationship with your ex, do NOT contact me. I would prefer it if you have been divorced for at least a year. As I said, it is time for me to be the priority in a relationship, and I will not settle for anything less. Been dragged down that broken glass road too many time, and I am tired of bleeding.
