Date a woman from United States. I just moved to California, after several years living abroad (Thailand, Nepal and England), and am looking forward to exploring the area, meeting new people, and, if lucky, meeting someone special. I have travelled a lot (38 countries so far), studied a lot, and have had some really wonderful adventures. I feel like I have had a blessed life, although I have also had my share of hardships.
In a relationship I am looking for someone who is romantic in his heart, who is affectionate, fun loving, thoughtful and who has a positive outlook on life, as I do, and who can put cynicism and the past behind him. I care about my health and about evolving as a person, and would like my partner to care about these things to. I am an attractive woman (more so than these silly photos), but I know that the best of me is on the inside and is getting better all the time. (I'll try to put up a better photo - these really are bad. I'm always the one with the camera so...)
On the home front, I am self employed, working in the health field. I teach, write and am filming my first documentary. A learning curve on every front. My work is inspiring and creative to me, and I am self motivated. I'm also really good at getting away from it all. I love the arts, and am a film buff, enjoy the beach, the mountains, and, needless to say, travel. I am lucky to have a daughter that I am very proud of, who I love and admire, and who is a very important part of my life. As I am new to the area, I am just putting out my feelers, and getting used to being where the sun just keeps on shining. This area is beautiful, and very different from what I have been used to. I look forward to exploring and making it my home. Exploring it would be even better with the right companion.
