I am passionate about life in all its expressions. I love nature and outdoor activities like camping, hiking, biking, inline skating, skiing, exploring, going for a drive, gardening and sitting around a fire. I learned to sail when I was little and it is still one of the best feelings for me to steer a boat along with the winds when I get a chance. When I grew up I played soccer and still I love watching the soccer world and european championships (preferably when Germany wins or at least plays decently courageously and creatively...!). I love music, listening to life (and ideally outdoor) concerts, dancing, reading, movies. Most of all I am curious and like to explore different activities and places.
Having meals with friends and sitting around the kitchen table discussing anything from apple trees, Berlin or Baramudas to elections and politics and zebras are huge fun for me. I love to listen to people's stories and be inspired by them and to share mine. When I have dinner by myself I rarely skip the candle light but would like to share meals with a special someone.
Cooking healthy but yummy food is my personal playground - doing things with my hands is a great source of balance and contentment for me. Recently I have been feeling drawn to painting with water color and creating music.
I love balance between weekend getaways and homy weekends with occasional international travel in the mix. I grew up in Berlin and lived in Sweden for 16 years before moving to Los Angeles. I would love to share my interest in other countries, cultures and languages with someone.
