Date women from United States / California / San Francisco, 37 year old - page 5

Date a soulmate from California, United States. I think everyone can write anything they want in here but when you met ..they are differentand I dont want to be like that..cause I know we all are complex person with alot of dimension in personalities I would refer to myself as ambitious and confident. I love cooking, sports, outdoors and witty conversations. I am a spontaneous woman looking for an interesting funny guy that will keep life fun. then send me a wink or an e-mail ;-).

Meet a woman from California, United States. I am an easy going person and I can adapt to most any situation. I like this quality in others as well - it means you are comfortable with yourself, resourceful, and probably pretty handy with tools (not really, but that would be a good thing).
I consider myself pretty active and am looking for a fellow who is too, but who is not afraid to stay in the city for the urban bbq or lazy morning coffee drinking. I've been doing a lot of cycling lately and find it to be a great way to see places I?ve never seen. My motorcycle also gets me out every now and then, as does snowboarding, tennis, and people watching in the park. I love car camping as well as backpacking - preferably with some sort of water near by to take a dip in, I love being in the water, anywhere. As for the city, I love that there is always something neat and different happening ? big wheel races, graffiti tours, secret dinners, hundreds of drunken Santas roaming the streets?and on and on and on.
I love The Breakfast Club and I would love to meet someone who could stand watching that movie with me. I am not really into the club scene, more the crummy bar, tasty cocktail, or live music scene....lets go to shows! Art, music, theater, or otherwise!
Mainly, I want to meet someone who is smart and inquisitive with a wide variety of interests, is fun and sarcastic but nice, someone who can show me something new, and is at least open to the same themselves.

Date someone special from California, United States. A few things you should know about me are my sarcastic humor, sense of adventure and fun, optimistic outlook, and tendency to talk to strangers.
In fact, if you ride BART we may have already talked. Speaking of BART, I think it's really uncool to take up an extra seat with your bag, especially during rush hour. I'm just saying.
Some other things about me: I was the Hollin Meadows Elementary spelling bee champion in sixth grade, and can probably beat you in Scrabble. I bought my first car with babysitting money. In high school, people said I looked like Ferris Bueller's girlfriend. I've been to the Oprah show twice and the Final Four once. I was a theater chick in high school and never played team sports. After college, I became an aerobics and yoga instructor. I still do yoga and took up running a few years ago. I can't stand most reality television, yet am strangely drawn to "The Biggest Loser."
I have lunch with my 92-year-old grandmother at least once a month. I've been known to sing karaoke (badly), dance the Macarena (weddings only), discuss my feelings (within reason), run a half marathon (slowly), and throw dinner parties (with help). Even though I live in the Bay Area, I don't ski, snowboard, or mountain bike. But I don't mind if you do.
I have a really sweet and funny son who lives with me half the time. Being a mom makes me really happy and I would love a bigger family someday. That said, I think meeting new people and dating can be just plain fun, even if we don't end up being soulmates.
I am loyal and kind and optimistic. I believe that life isn't nearly as hard as most people make it out to be. I seem familiar to people; at least once a month a stranger will be convinced we know each other from high school or that I look just like his cousin.
I am looking for a real man; someone who drives with confidence bordering on aggression, takes the effort to plan a date, opens doors, and doesn't expect girls to watch sports with them.
OK, I've been talking too much. Now you know a lot about me; what should I know about you?

Meet a soulmate from United States. I recently moved back to San Francisco, from New York; IРІР‚в„ўm excited to find someone who is adventurous and up for spending the weekends being active.
My biggest hobby is probably sports or running around outside. I grew up in a neighborhood where there was always a game to play: kick-the-can, capture-the-flag or two-hand touch. Ultimately, soccer was my sport – I played that in college. Though, now I do a lot more hiking, skiing, running, biking, tennis and triathlons.
My second biggest hobby is travel. I grew up some overseas, and have since maintained my curiosity for far away places and people. Some of my experiences include going to sailing camp in Holland (which is nothing like overnight camp in the US), hiking in Patagonia, kite surfing in Greece, surviving wild dogs in Turkey, riding trains in India, trying to find a clean toilet in Tibet, and lounging on Koh Phi Phi..
I’m looking forward to meeting someone with a strong character, a big brain, a good sense of humor and tendency for adventure! A sweet tooth will also help – Ritter Sports Bars, M&Ms, brownie sundaes – I’m not that picky!!

Date a woman from United States. I'm a passionate down to earth person who enjoys living life to the fullest. I love to explore, learn, laugh, love and create quality connections. I hold my family and friends dear to my heart. I live a healthy lifestyle and believe that self care is important for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Balance is key.
I'm hoping to meet someone who is confident, positive, openminded, spontaneous, fun, has a good sense of humor, and values personal growth. Being communicative is a must, so if you have some conscious awareness of your emotional experience and can express yourself that is a plus. I like a man who is masculine yet can be expressive. Creativity is a wonderful thing as well.
I believe that in relationship it is important to respect and support each other's passions, appreciate the differences, and share the wonderful wonders of life's beautiful moments!

Meet someone special from United States. Haven't subscribed just yet... still deciding. So if I'm interested i can only wink back ;)
A little bit about me: I'm usually outgoing, sweet with a touch of spiciness... family oriented, loyal to those I love and hold dearly. Love to laugh, act goofy and a bit of a dork at times.
I believe friendship is the foundation to any relationship, so it would be great to meet someone and become friends first. If we connect in a deeper level in all aspects, physical, emotional mental than I am all up for exploring the possibility of something more. I'd to meet someone with similar values and morals. Someone who is close to his family, kind, honest, and of course adorable :)
I believe opposites attract, so hopefully we'll be able to compliment each other.

Date a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. I am not on this site to be a serial dater. I am an active, smart, adventerous, loyal and secure individual. I enjoy going out, parties, restaurants and sightseeing. I am interested in a casual relationship that might lead to a stable one with someone who is funny, outgoing, loves to travel and has family values. If you want to know more, then drop me a line :)

I concider myself a very well balanced individual, I have a full time job but I get away avery opportunity I get!! I'm down to earth and always real. I DON'T LIKE FAKE. I love pik-niks, BBQ's, swimming, love the beach, love hicking, I love to horse back ride, I also enjoy parks and amusement parks, museums, concerts, and defenately traveling. I'm also a great cook. I can cook colombian food the best but my favorite food to eat is soul food. I live in the city so I have tried all kids of food, that is good, but there is nothing better than some home cooked greens with corn bread and some fried sole fish..uuummmmmm!! As much as I love to go out, I also enjoy my time at home. I am a proud mother of two gorgoeus kids so we do some movie nights and spend time together.......aside from being a momi and stuff!! and finally when they go to their grandma's house, I love my "me" time. All and All Im a sweet, funny, loving kind of gir who loves to live life. My kids are the most important things in my life so I would like to meet someone who likes kids. I'm looking for a fun, easy going, adventorous man, drama free MAN. Don't need a man but want to meet the right man for me!

Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. Kindness is most important in how I treat those around me. I understand the importance of getting along with my peers and family to make life a better place. I will seek to find fairness in all aspects of my life. I have traveled all over Europe and some of S. America. My biggest addiction is learning and I am always in school. I don't watch TV, so I have more time than most to explore many activities, like surfing, hiking, biking, running and rock climbing. I used to be a swimming coach and snowboard instructor, but have not done much of it lately. I am multi faceted and can wear many hats. I feel that I need to have an equal who can live life at a deeper level. I am extremely optimistic.
My friends and family really enjoy spending time with me because I know how to enjoy life. I have a 9 year old son who is super awesome and completes me. I have a wonderful mother and decent ex that help me raise him. I am not super available, but when I am its a blast. I am an entrepreneur, I work on body, mind and spiritual therapy.

. Friends describe me as spontaneous, entrepreneurial, and someone with a dry sense of humor. I'm a California native, but spent about 10 years on the other coast, including Vermont for college & 5 years in NYC after that. I happily moved back to California in 2002, and I've been in SF ever since.
I love getting friends together and planning an outing, dinner or other activity. I am always doing two things at once; sitting still isn't my forte. I love being near the water or on it -- Crissy Field is one of my favorite places in SF. I am not a competitive person by nature; I tend to be someone who goes with the flow.
Foreign languages have always been an interest of mine (I was a Spanish major). I have studied Spanish, French and Italian at various points in my life. I lived abroad while in high school and college -- spending several months in Florence, Madrid, Salamanca and England.
What/who I am looking for…
First and foremost, someone who can make me laugh
I tend to like pretty outdoorsy guys (i.e. those who prefer to play sports rather than watching them on TV) and IРІР‚в„ўm attracted to a man with dry wit and who understands sarcasm.
Someone who loves California & plans to stay here for the long haul (I do have a soft spot for east coasters though).
A guy who is confident, laid-back and comfortable with himself (not attracted to men who are cocky).
Someone who knows he wants to be in a relationship (assuming it's with the right person), and can see himself having kids one day.
.....and ideally someone who loves guacamole and margaritas because I grew up on an avocado and lemon farm in Southern California :)
NOTE: If you own a tank-top, mandals, and/or jean-short cutoffs, IРІР‚в„ўm fairly certain weРІР‚в„ўre not a good match.

. I really enjoy life but it is so much more fun in the company of a man!
I like being outdoors and would spend all my time in Tahoe during the ski season and on SF Bay during the sailing season if I could. I enjoy running and have done a few half-marathons (slowly, but at least I finish!). My sisters, niece and nephews mean the world to me so I try to see them as frequently as possible. I really love staying in with friends and cooking, drinking good wine and laughing. And, when I karaoke, I kill "Gin and Juice" by Snoop Dogg.
My last vacation was to Roatan, an island off the Carribean coast of Honduras, where I learned to scuba dive. Amazing. I recently changed jobs and took time off between for this trip. I have a good job, but I don't like to be defined by it.
I would love to meet a man who is confident, an old-school gentleman with a modern perspective, who likes people, is socially at ease in most situations, and has many friends. Bonus points for being both athletic and bookish and for honestly being able to say that people tend to like you and respect you. Are you still reading? Good. Maybe it's you.
I have a lot of interests and really like to try new things, go new places and meet new people. I hope to meet someone who feels the same way - that the world is a gift to be opened and explored, even the not-so-great parts.
Good quote:
"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."
Audrey Hepburn

. I could lead you down a glorified hole of bottomless half-truths in hopes of securing a coveted position in your queue but my creativity has been stymied by an incomprehensible moment of sincerity. I'm a low key, kind, and compassionate gal who enjoys taking nice walks, exploring the city, reading classics, painting silly flowers, tinkering with the Guzheng (ancient Chinese harp), collecting stones/rocks/shells, and researching underwater sea creatures (haven't met a nudibranch I didn't like).
I like to travel - been to Germany, Belize, Fiji, Switzerland, Canary Islands, Italy, Turks Caicos, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong - and would like to explore more places. Its an obsession, rooted in the need to learn and absorb all of life's mysteries - however bizarre, cumbersome, and complicated. Mostly though, I'm trying to fulfill my dream of taking one (just one) good underwater shoot of a Spanish Dancer in all its glory (sans blurry background sea fan). I'm getting pretty desperate but I digress.
I've been mislead into thinking I have a high metabolism and thus have limited my active lifestyle to the occasional swims and tennis although I don't mind getting my heart rate higher than the occasional jolt as a result of highly caffeinated drinks (Blue Bottle, Ritual, Philz). I like to eat a variety of foods and could polish a burger in less than 5 mins (bad habit) and would like to improve my culinary skills - if I can develop more discipline like following a recipe. I'm obsessed with berries (blue, black, rasp, straw) and will try any fruit that looks exotic.
I like listening to a variety of music and have been listening to songs my sister loaded on my shuffle after giving her my usual excuse like I'm techno-challenged (aka lazy). I'm cursed with a disease called 'I can listen to a song over and over and not get bored', kinda like the common cold where there is no apparent antidote. A few favorites - Everlasting Light, Dream On, Last Night, In My Life, Tighten Up, Free, Take Me Out, These Days, Lonely Boys, Lightening Crashes, Uprising, Creep, Feel Good, Animal, Southside, Collide, Getting Older, Amore, Radio Valencia, Oh These Dark Eyes, Duele, La Paloma, Besame Mucho - I know, I only said a few huh?
By day, I'm a financial analyst with a defense contractor. I can get sucked into analyzing loads of data, pumping out reports, and performing audits. I like my job as it has the discipline that keeps my life in balance and affords me time to pursue creative pursuits. Don't judge a book by its cover although I've been known to collect Penguin Ink Deluxe Classics which doesn't give me time to finish my dragon painting that's collecting dust in the corner.
Other weird things about me - if you see a gal with long hair and tanned skin on a golf course that's a splitting image of me, it's not a figment of your imagination, it's just my twin. I secretly want to learn sign language. I love roasted golden/red beets, blood orange olive oil, and baguettes. I wish humans can harness the power of bioluminosity to communicate. I can get pretty silly and start mixing 4 different languages.
