You: Honestly, I have no idea...chemistry is so elusive. You just know when it's there and it often surprises you. I could make a checklist, but I'd probably contradict myself :) I don't think it's as much about how many common interests you share, as just being comfortable & "getting" each other.
Just a disclaimer: I have always lead a fairly unconventional lifestyle (people like to call me a "free spirit", but I don't like that label, or any label, for that matter). I just don't conform to the societal norms...I guess that makes me a deviant ??? A healthy sense of humor and a desire to be adventurous and fun is hands down an absolute must for me! I am pretty silly and have been known to break out the "Elaine" dance a time or two on the dance floor to get a few laughs in the crowd around me ;o) I also enjoy good food and wine and love to cook and nurture others. I have lived and traveled in developing countries for extended periods of time. The experience has made me grateful for my blessings and I live simply because of it. . So here is my story. I grew up in San Francisco and am a true native. I lived in New York for 8 years and I enjoyed that city too. I moved back here 4 years ago and now am the proud owner of a small preschool and childcare. I love working with kids because they always make me laugh. I have a great sense of humor and love good comedy. I also enjoy photography, writing, music and dancing. I am open to new things and good times. I am on match to meet that someone special to share new adventures with. I am pretty straight forward and open(hell, i grew up in San Francisco) I work hard but know how to have fun. I am happy doing all kinds of fun things. From going to a fancy dinner or dodgy dive bar(ha Ha) , to taking a long hike along the coast. I am very independent and enjoy my own time. I love my boxing class and my morning yoga. I drink strong coffee at the local caffe and love this city so if you're ready to have an old school good time (San Francisco style), look me up.

The other day I was eating Chinese food and I cracked open my fortune cookie and it read; "You have an optimistic faith and confidence in life" and my friend smiled and said, "ooohhh that's perrrrfect for you!!" And even though she was way too excited about it, I couldn't disagree with her, because it is pretty much true!
So yeah, that's me, I am very optimistic, passionate, believe in living in the moment and see the silver lining in most situations. I get excited about trying new things, I have a good group of friends that I get together often with for happy hour, or to see a show and I try to take advantage of the great city I live in.
I'm always up for an adventure but also enjoy having some down time and relaxing at home. I promise I will never drag you to IKEA on a Saturday afternoon when we could be doing something fun, like renting those little yellow go cars and cruising around the city! I like making lists and checking things off, but also leaving room for spontaneity. A good pub quiz is always fun to get the wheels turning, but also lounging on the beach with a bottle of wine is often needed.
I'm active and like the outdoors but I'm not die hard...I have a bike, I like riding it around, but I don't own padded bike shorts. A bike ride for me is cruising around the city, through Golden Gate park, down to Park/Beach Chalet for a beer and then taking our time getting home.
I try to live my life in moderation and keep a good sense of balance. I probably like bourbon too much but at the same time like to take care of my body and eat healthy. I have traveled all over the world and would like to see more of it. I've never been on a cruise and hope I don't have to until I'm 80.
I love road or day trips. The best mornings are the ones you look at each other and say "what should we do" and just come up with a game plan.
I have been an athlete all of my life and currently play co-ed soccer two times a week and tennis regularly on the weekends. I like golf but can't seem to squeeze it very often. Plus it's super frustrating, but in a fun way?
