After living in Portland (OR) and the Midwest (IL) for many years, I moved back to Southern California in 2002 to be near family, and I can honestly say that I love living here.
I have a stable career (9 years at the same company), which keeps my brain and bank account healthy. I also teach indoor cycle (Spinning) classes 3-4 nights/week, which keeps the rest of me in good shape, physically and emotionally. The only thing missing is a partner with whom to share it. I've spent the past few years focusing on my family, home, and career, and I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with someone.
I've always been pretty independent—never dated much, mostly long-term relationships. My hope is that the next one will be happily forever after. I don't need a partner—but I value and appreciate companionship. Meeting people isn't as easy as it used to be, especially in California where everyone and everything is spread out. So here I am.
