Meet someone special from United States. Everyone says that you can't really know LA, and therefore can't really have an opinion about it, for at least three years. I'm on year two and a half, and aside from the smog and the unpredicatble traffic, so far, so good. There's so much to do and so many cool little niches to explore; I keep uncovering new adventures. I'm still perplexed by 1:30pm traffic jams, and I wonder who decided Fedoras were so cool, but I love that every stroll through this city gives you something to think about and talk about.
I like to stay active and am always up for doing stuff outside, exploring new parts of the city, getting away for weekends, heading to great shows at the Greek or the Bowl, and trying new restaurants, cafes, and bars, especially great dive bars. I get outside as much as I can, love spending time with friends, and have a good bit of wanderlust. Before I was a teacher, I worked in the travel industry, and it got into my blood. I'm not always travelling abroad; long stretches of time in Wyoming, summer and winter, pretty much keep me sane.
I often try to fit too much into a day, but I also appreciate mellow, lazy days to myself. I love to get up for sunrise runs with my running group, but I love to lounge in bed the following morning doing the crossword puzzle with a cup of coffee. I don't really have patience for rudeness, selfishness, or people who take themselves too seriously. I think itРІР‚в„ўs pretty important to laugh each day.
I am attracted to people who are excited about what they do—for work and for play—and who want to share their passions with the people around them. I'm looking for someone who is up for trying new things, who has an inquisitive spirit, and who has a good sense of humor. Mostly, I am interested in being with someone who is generous, kind, patient, and generally has a positive outlook on life.
