I have a bicycle not a car, I live in SF close to downtown and love city life.
I am barely an amateur photographer, being apparently obsessed with trees, I have a lot of nice photos of trees. I would like to develop that more. But I have become more obsessed with making jewelry the past year and that is a lot of fun and I can do it anytime. It is a wonderful feeling to make something beautiful.

An important part of my life recently was the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain. If you've seen Martin Sheen's latest movie "The Way," you'll know what I'm talking about. In 2010, I spent a month walking this 500 mile stretch, an extraordinary accomplishment for me. Last fall I returned to the Camino as a volunteer at a hostel, welcoming travelers for a night's rest and meal.
Another place that has touched my life recently was a magical place in northern Scotland, the Findhorn Community, and its warm, spiritual people. Recently I returned from Peru where I spent two weeks in Spanish school and a week on the Amazon.
There is nothing I enjoy more than laughter and humor. Beware, I come from a long line of jokesters.
What else? I love my friends, talking over a glass of wine, a good joke, hiking, Darjeeling tea, my Ipod, Hemingway's writing, the paintings of Velasquez, Andy Goldsworthy's sculpture, Damien Hirst's artworks, my dear and sweet children, Woody Allen's last three movies, Taos NM, an Irish Pub, the BBC, poetry, singing, Scrabble, semicolons, and campfires.
