I raised a daughter for many years, and have two Grandsons. They live in Singapore. I try to go there when I can and from there visit other places in SE Asia.
I prefer to be outdoors than indoors. I live in So Cal and I lived in Hawaii for over 25 years, high school and college in Hawaii.
My mother and sister still live in NY. We visit frequently, and talk weekly. I wish she lived closer; we are as close as geography allows. I wish my Family was larger and closer geographically.
I know Italian and some Asian foods. Cook Italian. Speak English and Spanish. Volunteer teach one day a week. Semi retired and a working licensed contractor, and legal expert witness.
I like to read novels and informative, idea oriented non fiction… Malcolm Gladwell, Christopher Hitchins, I read magazine articles…Newsweek, Financial Times etc. I subscribe to the NY Times Online. and read it daily. I really like Sunset Mag but I am a poor designer type and frustrated home keeper so you have to do that part.
I like to read travel journals I find on the Internet now.
I wake up early and go to sleep early. Spin class 2-3 times a week, yoga once or twice a week with the best instructor in Ventura County. Lift weights in between.
I like to talk to people. Go out and engage. I tell jokes and work at telling only intelligent jokes you can tell in public.
If you like to dance let’s dance. Lessons if we need to is cool with me. Lessons are something I like to do with a partner. No fun on your own....
I like to visit new places, and have travelled and worked overseas a lot. I will continue to do more visits. That is why getting along as a couple is important to me.
