I like walks in the mountains and like to camp and I love horse back riding even though I don't own a horse. I love the Napa Valley with all its beauty, the northern coast and its ruggedness and beauty, the coastal redwoods and the tall pines and redwoods of the Sierra mountains. I like warm fires and sitting in front of a fireplace when it snows or rains and looking at rainbows knowing it is a promise from God. I like romantic dinners with candle light and walks on the beach holding hands, these are just a few of the things I enjoy.

Two cruises are in my past, one several years ago to the Carribean and recently to Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy cruising and wish to explore more areas of the world in cruise fashion. Alaska and Panama Canal would be on short list as travel destinations.

Background: (This part reminds me of submitting a resume) I was born in San Diego and left at age 19 for Northern Ca and am still here. I am the mother of a son and a daughter. My daughter has given me 7 grand children, each has a special place in my heart. I am self employed and have been for the past 40 years. I am now focusing on less work and more time for pleasure. At one time I was very active in our community and at the federal level by lobbying for education issues. I used to do lots of volunteer work but have stepped back from that also. It was fun for 25 years but now I have a simple plan… Life is short, make the best of it. It’s my turn!
