Date a man from San Marcos, United States. I am caring, polite and friendly. Put others first most of the time. Looking for companionship to enjoy life's events and to create our own events. I am somewhat neat and organized.
Looking for that special someone that is kind, compassionate and considerate of others. Someone that loves the holidays and likes to entertain occasionally.
I have many interests, am a private pilot and owner of a partnership airplane. I have a commercial captains license for boats, I love learning. Been told I can fix just about anything. Very results oriented.
I retired early to enjoy life after a very successful career. Appear to be somewhat reserved and conservative. Have a good sense of humor which is also important in my partner.
Have traveled to many countries for work and pleasure, lived in Europe for a couple of years.
Meet a soulmate from San Marcos, United States. I catch myself checking out everyone's photos, and suspect you're much the same. The handsome young man is my son Cameron. The years have gone by much too fast and I'm still in denial that he even has facial hair. Can't be hair - must be dirt - go wash your face.
There are a few photos from my Grade School Reunion. Unless you're from New York, you may not know that such a thing exists. These wonderful people have been lifetime friends ever since my first day of school.
I'm now entering month 10 of my Match Game career and if nothing else, have come to the conclusion that I haven't been very good at screening the ladies. I know we all have our Match war stories and my sharing this isn't intended to be a blame thing, but perhaps this summary will better communicate what "didn't work".
In no particular order, of my 11 meets/dates:
* two blatantly lied about their age (I don't get it);
* two others complained non-stop about their exes (waitress, another round please);
* another one complained non-stop about her three exes (check please);
* one had posted much outdated photos (did you think I woundn't notice?);
* two others were very nice but Me-Me's (doesn't blend well with a We-We type of guy);
* MA was lots of fun but she led a gyspy lifestyle that created too many obstacles.
* T and I dated for a month or two but it became evident that she just wasn't emotionally available.
* And then there was BS, who was anything but bs. A class act all the way. For 6 weeks we had it all; romance, trust, laughter, a deep sincere friendship and then puff, suddenly the ex-boyfriend reappears in her life. I now better understand why so many profiles stress the importance of being "emotionally available". Many think they are and then.....
On a more positive note, someone recently told me about a friend who married date #85, which in itself was impressive that she was still counting. I'm not sure if settling on #85 is a sign of determination or resignation but at that point who cares, she found her Match. I figured out that at the rate I am going, I will shatter that record in December, 2015. That is of course unless you have something to say about it.
Being the ultimate optimist that I am I remain confident that my soulmate is searching for me as well, so here we are.
I'm a very easy going guy, and able to go with the flow in almost all circumstances. Very little bothers me or stresses me out, except perhaps people on their cell phones while they're driving. I do have a cute "blonde" joke about that though.
My mild manner probably stems from my having experienced the loss of my parents and sister at a young age, and recently a very dear friend. That, along with my one year All-Expenses-Paid vacation to Vietnam, taught me what to value in life.
Through my extensive training with Landmark Education, I re-discovered myself and learned two valuable lessons that have forever changed my life; one is the magic of possibility; the other is that one's true character is defined in their ability to keep their word.
I will ultimately spend the rest of my life with someone who is loyal, sincere, compassionate, loving, kind and caring. That is probably on everyone's profile but that's OK. Being with someone I trust, and who I instinctively know is being honest with me, will be vital to our long term relationship. Loyalty, not only with your lover but in life in general, is a rare commodity.
I am 62 years old going on 50 and seek both emotional and physical romance in my life. There is nothing more comforting and satisfying than holding the one I love in my arms, and allowing our hearts and bodies to run free.
If any of this strikes a chord, please feel free to write. I promise I am a gentle soul and really not determined to break the Match longevity record.

Date men and women from California, United States. Wish I could tell you exactly what I'm looking for...but at this point I have no clue. I think to define that would be to illuminate possibilities that are beyond my imagination that might be the perfect match for me. I've been divorced for a quite a while now and feel ready to have love in my life again. While I can take care of myself and don't "need" a man to take care of me, I just can't imagine living the rest of my life without a loving partner by my side.
