I live up in the city, but work down in the south bay. When I was growing up, I wanted to be a writer, but found my calling elsewhere. I went to school in North Carolina and, during my junior year, I studied abroad in Florence. Including Italy, I have been to a whopping eight countries on this planet, but not Canada. I'm okay with that, though, because it's been said that you need to visit a minimum of seven countries to say you're worldly, so in spite of never going north of the border, I am a very worldly person.
I like many things ranging from photography and writing to cycling and taking walks--personal health is important to me, but I'm a fat kid at heart. My favorite album is Abbey Road, I've seen a perfect game and two no-hitters in person and I don't believe in the Oxford Comma. To this day, I feel bad for Goldberg when Gordon Bombay replaces him with Julie the Cat Gaffney at the end of D2: The Mighty Ducks. Above all, however, the most important thing about me is that my mom is my hero, my dad and sister are my best friends, and, if I'm eating, my dog is my arch-nemesis.
