I like outdoor activities, movies, plays, dining out and concerts. Recently went middle age crazy and bought a motorcycle after about 20 years since the previous bike. I love to read and consider golf the sport of the dead. I dislike the bar scene, I dance poorly but I'm game to try if you insist and you don't value your feet. I have been here in Pacific Grove for nine years and have come to the conclusion that I'm living in paradise, I'm getting to know the area and explore a bit but not as much as I'd like to because, ...well. it's not as much fun doing that stuff alone. My doge are great but they really suck at conversation and don't seem to have a real appreciation for a beautiful sunset.I'm looking for a relationship, not a date. I'm an artist. My life, in as much as possible, is a creative flow. I love the beach and the outdoors. I workout in some way almost every day. Fitness and good diet are extremely important to me. I strive to maintain my youthful appearance, demeanor and physique. I am kind, occasionally to a fault, sensual and warm. I'm a toucher, a nurturer and a lover. I enjoy a man who enjoys me and reciprocates. My lifestyle is fairly quiet, though I enjoy an occasional concert, party w/ good friends, a play or a movie. I'm witty and clever and always enjoy a good joke and a laugh. I am slow to anger and quick to forgive (most things.) I enjoy preparing food for a man that is excellent in taste, good for the health and doesn't take too long to fix. I do NOT like spending my life in the kitchen. I enjoy reading and studying French when time permits, and having lived in Mexico years ago, I still speak Spanish, though not perfectly. I am at the end of a 27 yr. marriage to a wonderful, much older man, whose last 7 years were consumed by dementia. So, for the past 7 years, my main role has been care-giver. I would now like to do some living for me and find someone with whom to share this life, perhaps not forever, but at least for a while.

What am I grateful for? I am grateful for everything I have in my life, for my life, my talent and for having had the wisdom and strength to totally walk away from alcohol 19 months ago. My sober lifestyle is a daily blessing. I am thankful for my friends. I am thankful for each new day that unfolds before me and the limitless possibilities it presents to me.

To me, to live otherwise is merely to exist. If I should get down over something, I get back up fast. I try to always keep a right attitude about life and all it presents.
