Meet a woman from California, United States. I like to measure life in special moments and experiences. I believe it is not where you go or what you do; it's who is beside you that counts. My friends say I am cute, funny, kind, and generous. I have a positive outlook on life, and I like to laugh. I was married to a great guy for almost 40 yrs. until he died from leukemia. I have a wonderful family who is very important to me (3 children and 5 grandchildren who love me), good health, and a warm comfortable home. I am blessed beyond measure. In the summer I like going to the beach or lake and relaxing in the sun or boating and riding the Seadoo. Beach or backyard BBQ's by the pool are fun. I also enjoy walking, playing tennis, and biking. I love skiing in God's winter wonderland. Mammoth Mountain, Aspen, Co., and Utah are some of my favorite ski destinations. I like all kinds of dancing, and I even took tap and salsa classes last Spring. I also appreciate quiet times and experiencing the simple pleasures of life: watching TV and cuddling, reading a good book with my kitty at my side, making love on a rainy day, or strolling along the shore holding hands, sharing an incredible sunset while waiting for the green flash as the ball of fire slips behind Catalina. I am very romantic and affectionate, and I love giving and receiving passionate kisses. I enjoyed a long happy marriage filled with great chemistry. I learned that a successful romantic relationship is a lot like a wonderful gourmet dish. The ingredients of passion, loyalty, kindness, playfulness, support, communication, patience, give and take, tolerance, and forgiveness bring about the most delicious and satisfying relationship. I like most kinds of music (not rap). I like picnics, museums, art galleries, the theater, or just hanging out with friends sharing a bottle of good wine. I am a strong, yet gentle, person. I know who I am, and I appreciate what I have. I enjoy the finer things in life, but they are not necessary for my happiness. I have the means to enjoy my lifestyle.
