As with everyone, my life has been defined, by where I have lived, my friends and family, travels and my work. I grew up back East (Connecticut/New York and moved here when I was about 30. I have traveled a lot - in the U.S., Europe, So. America and Africa- and have lived in Europe -Italy, Germany- and South America - Brazil. I have always been comfortable in strange places and experiencing strange cultures and languages. Everywhere I have been seemed to ultimately become a unique experience for me, because I enjoyed letting the trip go where the road took me. The resulting stories were a nightly bedtime ritual with my kids, now 24 and 26, when they were growing up. Of course, any stories that involved intrigue, injuries, or danger were very popular. My daughter wrote me a short time ago asking me to write down the stories, so she could read them to her kids when she has them. She even listed about 30 or 40 that she remembered.
I’m an architect and I love my job. I work hard and I’m good at it, and most of my clients have become my friends.
I have been divorced for eight years and have spent that time getting my kids through high school and college, which didn’t leave time for dating. So I’m new at this.
