I am at a point in my life where I want to enjoy spending time with that someone special. I believe love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. This is hard to see when there is so much trivialization and degradation of nature and culture going on, but not impossible. Okay, maybe not all of what we see is overflowing with wisdom and beauty, but right behind it, something is. A plant? A stone? A bird? We'll help each other with that.
Aside from all that "Rumi-nating" (nice pun, eh?), my outlook on life is positive, and I am easy to get along with. I like skiing, cycling, and hiking. I also have practiced Chinese martial arts and meditation at times. My musical tastes are eclectic -- I can appreciate quality of musical insight and skill in any genre. I have only occasionally done on-line dating (last time was a while ago); usually I have met women through friends and socializing.

I like the outdoors and love to hike, bike etc. But I like my comforts, too. Camping for me involves a blow-up mattress, a great bottle of wine and a roaring campfire.
