Date a man from Seal Beach, United States. I don’t want to sound offensive, presumptuous, or rude ... however, I guess I’ve never had REAL luck from reading anyone’s description. Granted, it’s refreshing to know someone has similar hobbies, interests, and future plans (kids, etc). But when it comes to “what kind” of person I am - I’d really like YOU to be the judge. I think a lot of people describe themselves as who they “want to be” as opposed to how they really are. I can really empathize with that; and yet at the same time, I don't want to do that. I believe you’ll find me funny, creative, honest, spiritual, attractive, and perhaps a bit cynical about Southern CA people in general. However, I make an effort to be very polite, and I believe I’m very easy to be around. I think I used to suck at relationships - I never knew how to really “give” - I was in it for me. I've undergone some pretty major changes in life; which in turn, have helped me change.
I’d MUCH rather go miniature golfing than go to a bar. I’d prefer to walk on the beach and have a good daytime chat for a first meeting ... and if we hit it off, let’s take it from there.
I enjoy my job, but most importantly - I enjoy my relationship with my 20 year-old son. It may sound a bit corny, but he’s my best friend - and I’m a lucky and very involved father. I’ve always had him 50% since he was two, have a healthy relationship with his mother, and couldn’t be more proud.
I love surfing, traveling, writing, spending time with TRUE friends, and going to see bands). Spirituality is a major part of my life - I’m involved in a spiritual community - I don’t subscribe to ONE religion - I believe there are many paths to the mountaintop. I’m enjoying my climb, but would love someone to share the journey. I’m also quite goofy - perhaps it’s my way of dealing in what a find a rather superficial environment. Or, perhaps I’m just a goofball, but I also enjoy taking off my mask and revealing who I truly am - and who I’m becoming - with my partner. I like to have lots of fun; and yet I like to go deep.
One last thing, although I used to play them occasionally, I truly have no time for games. I LOVE to goof around ... but NOT with people’s heads and hearts.
