To stay in shape, I cross-train almost daily, and play basketball and racquetball occasionally. For recreation, I play golf year-round, snowboard in the winter, and surf in the summer. I also enjoy watching sports. I’m a fan of the Lakers and Dodgers. (For those of you who haven’t stopped reading my profile at this point, I assume that you’re not a Warriors or Giants fan.) Nevertheless, I do like to attend Giants and Warriors, as well as 49ers, games, and I'll root for the Bay Area home teams as long as they're not playing the Lakers or Dodgers.

Meet someone special from California, United States. I'm a successful freelance copywriter, recently moved here from Boston. First things first (and perhaps only): I adopted a newborn baby girl in July 2011. Needless to say, I'm madly in love with and utterly devoted to my daughter. So before you write me, please be sure you've considered all the implications. OK, on to the rest of it. If I had to describe myself, and evidently I do, first would be "funny" (I used to work for Hallmark writing humor cards). Then again most guys think they're a lot funnier than they really are, so take it with a grain of salt. I believe I'm intelligent. Women tell me I'm nice-looking, and some of them aren't even drunk at the time (although my eyes do get squinchy when I smile). I'm definitely a good listener, very into other people and their lives--not one of these guys who adores the sound of his own voice. I can be a smartass for sure, but not to hurt or spite. I try hard not to talk about people behind their backs, and when I do I always feel crappy afterward. Basically I'm a big-hearted guy looking for a best friend and lifetime love. I enjoy just being honest with myself and others with no false hope or games, not into bragging about things nor boasting about how great of job I may have or how much I make, I dont really need a bunch of impressive toys to lure anyone, I will leave that for you to read in the next guys profile. I am just happy with whatever I may have earned in my life thus far in life.

my background: Went to art school and studied "painting" but don't "paint." Story-telling is a hobby and love to write but not real motivated to tell stories or write. Consider myself conversant on a fairly broad spectrum of global affairs...but do(nt) really give a discuss in public and do spend a fair amount of time keeping up with them...i am also known to be a strong motivating force getting people to do things they normally would not and typically, I am quite the success and this is how I get paid. At dinner parties, I'm told that i am witty, fun(ny) with a gypsy-ish styled nature yet rarely (lately anyway) go to dinner parties.
