It suddenly occurred to me that you may not like coffee! So in the interests of expediting this thing that used to be a random twist of fate, apparently some self promotion may be necessary. But difficult. How about I describe you?
Adjectives that come to mind.. Positive (but not in a creepy Tony Robbins way). Energetic (not like you got jacked up on too much caffeine) Kind - to everyone. Especially me..and little old ladies..that just seems fair. Possibly offbeat, definately upbeat. Smart, strong, funny and loyal.
I like to think I am those things, and more.
I'm concerned with your outlook on life and how you treat those around you, not in your collections or obsessions..
Odd (?) things about me... I have a love affair with hats.
I have a really hard time spluttering out the word "juxtaposition". I learned that the hard way. Mid-sentence at a presentation. Now I tremble at the thought of ever uttering it again.
I am ambidextrous, and dyslexic with numbers..I would therefore make a really good secretary in theory..as long as you don't really care about returning a phone call.
Some random goals I have...
1. Kick my nephews butt in the pool - it is getting harder
2.See a polar bear up close.
3. Realize I don't want to be up close with a polar bear, and hence find a new #2 goal.
4. Walk across Spain (again)
5. Learn to play that little ditty from the "Flight of the Conchords". (You do like that right?)
6. Try not to use the word nice..long story.
Me?I am self employed. Artistic but then that is open to interpretation isn't it? Unconventional in a (mostly)normal way. Obey most laws..with the exception of a habit of never getting my seatbelt on until I am in 4th gear. I work hard and play nice. I like most people except the person that hit my car and drove off.
Added bonuses ..I will not call you 5x a day after we first meet, nor expect you to buy flowers on the 1 week anniversary of our first coffee together. But it would be nice.
So I know this Match thing is an odd proposition. ..in a different world we might have bumped into each other on a trail somewhere. You would offer me some manly advice, I would offer you some home made granola (true-and it's good!) - you would misconstrue nearly everything I say ( my accent never gets any weaker) you would ask me where I am from? Incredulous that English was my first language. .. you take my number, but get the numbers mixed up...and never call. So I guess I should be greatful that Match exists for those of us that are accent challenged.
Lastly, there is so much more to me than a trite profile.Lets face it, we can all write whatever we want here, or under the guise of "my friends say..."
