Work keeps me pretty busy, but I always make time for fun, as I think joy should always be a top priority. I write concert reviews for local music blogs (two in LA, one in SD). I also have several blogs of my own, one being focused on travel (food, wine/cocktails, shopping, sights), on which I also post a local section from home base between travels, and another being my own kitchen adventures (cooking, baking & cocktail recipes).
I grew up with four boys (my brother and three step-brothers), so I have a slight tomboy streak that manifests mostly as a love of sports. I enjoy football, baseball, and especially basketball. I've not missed a season (GSW) since I was 7.
I love to cook, bake, travel, explore new places (restaurants, bars, etc), enjoy the beach, and experience live music. So, here I am... after seeing all of the commercials on tv and thinking to myself, "I can find a date on my own! Who wouldn't want to be with a pretty, fun, loving, adventurous, athletic, incredibly modest girl?" And, then I realized I'm not in college anymore, my friends all seem to be married and popping out littles ones left and right, and haven't the slightest idea of how to meet a wonderful man. So far, the library, church and costco isn't working out... not that I'm there that often, and when I am, I'm usually not looking for a date...so one day I thought I'd listening to all of my friends and try this out, with hopes that I meet someone that I can enjoy & share the special things in life with.
For those of you, who are familiar with the Zac Brown Band "Toes" is a simple way to describe it best. Its a favorite, that always makes me feel good and want to jump on a plane and go to Mexico.
I grew up in Canada and Hawaii. I really miss having four seasons but I'm happy that I have to pay to see snow now. I love to watch Hockey, basketball & sometimes football. I use to play lacrosse & volleyball in high school. And when we moved to Hawaii I started paddling. Two great places I love to go home and visit.
