I swapped my fast paced (and stressed) life for a rather mellow one when I opted to move, which has been quite the transition. I lead a busy, yet wonderful life. I am so blessed to be supported by great friends and an amazing family, most of which live back in San Francisco. I am a dedicated mother to my two awesome children, a workaholic telecommuting for a technology company up in the Bay and in the middle of grad school at USC.
IРІР‚в„ўm a little bit of a walking oxymoron. I can only really describe myself as being adventurous, funny, warm, and a bit on the carefree side. Saying that, I am also very punctual, tend to plan ahead and stay in a routine. I love to try new things, but find great comfort in the familiar. I love the sun, but despise the heat (not a plus in this climate). I tend to find a balance between both extremes and like to think that IРІР‚в„ўm pretty good at being predictably unpredictable.
I enjoy music, movies, art, reading, football …Go Packers…and a good burger, in no particular order. I dance to my own rhythm, but sometimes am in synch with the DJ. I’ll try most things once, unless they involve eating bugs or jumping out of planes. I love the rainy months, which unfortunately there aren’t many in the desert. I am passionate, grateful, motivated, happy (most days), and ambitious. I look forward to how life presents itself each day and make the best out of what is given. I find these traits appealing and sexy in a partner and am hopeful of finding it here. I say what’s on my mind, at times at my own demise, but honesty is the foundation of anything that lasts, and I expect no less from the company I keep. I have a general faith that people are good and a belief that if you do the right thing, you will always come out on top. I am by no means straight edge – I love crude jokes and swear when it feels good – but I try to lead by example for my kids and show them how to live their lives with integrity and poise.
It would be impractical and maybe naive to ask that my date share most or all of these same traits…but I’m silly and optimistic, so I’m crossing my fingers that he may be here somewhere!
