Date a soulmate from California, United States. By day I’m a communication guru. I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist and I work with preschoolers who have speech and language delays. In a nutshell: I teach kids who don’t talk how to do it, and those who talk a little…how to do it even better!
So, you want to know about my hobbies and interests? During week nights youРІР‚в„ўll find me at my Cross Fit gym, or an evening spin class followed by candlelit yoga. I love to enter the yoga studio all a flicker with candle light, listen to some nice slow jams, and slip into the butterfly pose after a long, hard bike ride. Namaste! I enjoy spin yoga so much that I recently did a training to get certified as an instructor, so now I can teach both classes. I also take Pure Bar Pilates-ballet dance classes when the mood strikes me.
One of my most beloved possessions is my 1965 Mustang. Deep cherry red, pony seats, rally pack, 289 engine…the works! Got it as a “Sweet 16” present, and my Dad helped me restore it to perfection! It’s no longer my main means of getting to and from, but more of a fun car and on the weekends you’ll find me cruising the coast and running errands around town. Speaking of cars, one of my favorite things I look forward to each summer is the Pebble Beach Tour De Elegance. I love winding my way up the Northern California Coast to Carmel Monterey. Looking at all the gorgeous cars from around the world then walking aimlessly around the ins and outs of scenic Point Lobos is in my book, a perfect weekend getaway. I’d also enjoy getting out of town and going wine tasting in Temecula or Napa.
And in the winter? Before the snow starts falling in the mountains, IРІР‚в„ўve already booked my favorite Lake Arrowhead cabin for a nice long weekend stay. If weather permits IРІР‚в„ўll go tubing, ice skating, or skiing while IРІР‚в„ўm up there. ThereРІР‚в„ўs nothing I like more than turning the lights down low, lighting some candles, and snuggling up with a warm blanket, a glass of wine, and some old black and white classic movies. I love the feeling of being in a cozy cabin, so whenever I get my cabin fever on a weekday, I set the fireplace ablaze and watch the flames dance while reading anything from sappy love poems to the hilarious antics of David Sedaris.
A favorite thing of mine to do is travel to new places! While out and about I enjoy zip lining, white water rafting, horseback riding, bike riding, day hiking, enjoying local cuisine, and hunting for unique jewelry. But not to worry, I never come back from my travels empty handed as I have the gift of surprising others with perfectly unique treasures suited especially for them. For me, finding someone the perfect gift is a fun challenge that I take somewhat seriously (wink! ;). In the future I’d love to lay on the beaches of Indonesia, sit at a sushi bar in Japan, and listen to Sigur Ros play Hoppipolla in Iceland. But I’ll save these bucket list travel destinations for me and someone special, or a partner in crime…two for one anyone?

I?ve spent 32 years learning about who I am and what I want in life. I enjoy kids and love teaching, so I bought a preschool. Its work of the heart, so I?ll never be rich, but it affords me the flexibility to enjoy my life to the fullest.
