I spent most of my 20s working on my career/future and trying to figure out life. Then my 30s came along and I wanted to be more secure. My career is coming along but I'm always going to work on becoming better (life and work). In the midst of all this, I lost track of time and now I'm here! My work place and bar/club scene has never been a way for me to date. So that led me to Match. It seems that a lot of us on Match are here because of the same reason.
I'm an easy going, honest, and open-minded person. I'm a native Californian but lived in Illinois for a few years to complete graduate school. I really enjoyed living there but realized home will always be S. CA for me! I work in a fast paced and intense setting that I take seriously during the week but wouldn't have it any other way (for now at least). I can either stay in or be out the whole weekend, whatever works! I enjoy the gym but don't live there. I want to learn Spanish, mainly for work. But it would be fun to speak 3 languages too! I like live music. I am planning on going to Italy for my birthday, maybe we will go together :). I enjoy traveling (I have yet to meet someone who doesn't) and look forward to exploring more places with my significant other! I've had a growing interest in live sporting events (ice hockey in particular) in the last few years and look forward to enjoying more live sports. I realize physical attraction is significant (I won't deny it), especially on Match, but I've also learned time and time again looks aren't everything. I know I'm not "athletic and toned" but there's more to me than just a body type!

Enjoy conversations (or at least can carry a conversation, haha), open to new experiences, even if it's not what you like because you never know! Enjoy laughter, even if it's at your own expense, just kidding :). But I love a guy who can make me smile and laugh. Be comfortable showing and receiving affection. Is over the whole dating game and ready for something serious. Have a career that you enjoy, not a job you force yourself to go to. Able to go with the flow but knowing when you need to stand your ground. But most importantly, be honest and kind. It would be nice to find someone I can do everything and anything with but don't need to in order to feel whole. If you can teach me something new, that would awesome (like Spanish). Oh, and I have a thing for tattoos. And yes, I have some too. An added bonus - you enjoy watching hockey - Anaheim Ducks of course :). If you like the LA Kings, I can deal with that!
I don't mind exchanging a few emails but meeting in person is ideal for me. I have awesome friends and family but it would be nice to have a special someone just for me. I look forward to hearing from you!
