I'm an intelligent (but not intellectual) goofball, I always take care of business but find humor in almost any situation, even internet dating. I am in great shape financially and gainfully employed, I even get along with my ex. I love kids and have two of my own who live with me half-time, but there's alot more of me to go around.
I'm not too big on classic rock or country but instead like layered electronic pop, indy rock, a bit of jazz, a touch of classical and even some occasional opera. In general, I prefer the new over the old, I find that life is more interesting that way. I am driven to explore the nooks and crannies of my surroundings, I can find my way by instinct to an interesting sight or restaurant in any city I have ever visited. I prefer to be outside as much as possible. I look and act young for my age, and am usually in decent condition (right now 60 bpm), physical activity is essential to my state of mind. I guess I am a bit philosophical. On the flip side I also love beer, sports talk radio and driving fast (not particularly philosophical).
I really enjoy contrast, such as flipping between an urban adventure and the solitude of awesome nature in the same weekend. Although I’m a bit shy I can find a way to relate to almost anyone I meet.

Had a desire to see other parts of the country, so went to graduate schools in Iowa and Colorado. Eventually receiving a doctorate in Chemistry.
