Date a soulmate from United States. I can be abrasive sometimes in terms of my attitude when I am in deep concentration at my job. I have been told because of my passion for whatever it is I am doing, I can often be referred to as being a bit intense.
However outside of the workplace I am a simple well balanced type of guy, and I have been told that as well.
The things that make me smile are probably the same things that make any normal person smile, my daughter becoming a sweet little homemaker with the arrival of her first born little angel....makes me SMILE.....unexpected money in the mail....makes me SMILE....an ice cold beer after a long hot day....makes me SMILE
The accomplishments I am most proud of, I have worked in the music biz as a musician and technician for over 25 years more than half my life...wow. I guess I am just proud to have been fortunate enough to work with the best of the best......and travel the world over a couple of times REALLY.
I wont get into mentioning all the names or flaunt the resume because, that is just not like ME...... REALLY but trust, I have done(worked with) some big boys n girls on tours.
I am grateful for life an being able to overcome some major health issues, that you would never know or believe until I had told you about.
I am knocking on wood as I type because I was
not suppose to be here today so I have been told.
Strong will and determination would not let us go just yet, all praise to the supreme.
In terms of he person I intend to attract....just someone real, someone with the ability to put others first sometimes, someone that knows how to get by on less ,if need be, someone that likes simple things, spooning, cuddling and teasing...somebody that ain't too cool to show true emotions and keep it flowing in both directions.
I must admit ...outside of the music scene my social life is disappearing and it's ok to downside in this regard I just would rather have a significant other by my simple side and I believe I can cope....ya dig.....alright enough of the sixties jive talk...I need a good woman now ....and I know that more than ever.

Meet a man from United States. PLEASE, I beg of you....do not judge me on the fact I'm 51, and never been married. I DO however understand your trepidation...it's really simple, I'm NOT comittment-phobic (other wise I wouldn't be on here...) and will explain all on our....hmmmm...let's say third date. With that said, after 37 or 38 years on another dating service, I thought I'd give this one a shot. I still think there is love out there. In fact, I know there is... 'cause I've seen all those romantic movies....like... Pretty Woman, Sleepless in Seattle, Bridgette Jones, and of course, ALIEN. BUT SERIOUSLY FOLKS....I'm a talent agent for TV commercials. Great job... and there is no better feeling, than seeing one of your top clients, biggest bookers and theatrically trained actors, on tv, dressed up as a big juicy rare cheeseburger. It's humbling to say the least. I'm really just looking for a nice, normal woman, because I think I'm a nice, normal guy. I don't have to, or necessarily WANT to be with a "Miss Universe". A "Miss USA" would be just fine! Meeting that "normal" woman is turning out to be more difficult than I thought. If I hear "how come you're not married?".....one more time, I might be forced to wrap my lips around a revolver. I've been told I'm a really good catch. Someone catch me already!

We are supposed to be adults so ladies put yourself on the hook the same way that you would expect us men to. With that being said, thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I have never tried online dating, but was persuaded by some friends to give it a try and see what all the fuss is about. So here it goes.
I am a college educated professional who is confident, disciplined, independent, self sufficient, a realist, very observant and somewhat reserved. Everything that I have is the result of hard work and I am extremely fortunate and grateful for the position that I am in. Though I have lived in the Los Angeles area for sometime, my roots are based on the East Coast. A healthy lifestyle which includes physical fitness and being in shape are extremely important to me and I hope it is to you. Ideally, the type of woman that I would like to meet possesses the following attributes or traits: 1) she makes a disciplined effort to engage in some form of physical and mental fitness, 2) values companionship and friendship but is independent to the point of not having to rely on others for her happiness, 3) can intelligently and maturely communicate and is not afraid to speak her mind, 4) stands up for what she believes in, 5) is emotionally strong, introspective, and rational, 6) does not expect others to read her mind, 7) is drama free and 8) is not materialistic (this is LA).
In addition, though I don't have a problem with children nor do I have any children myself (yes, I know it's rare), I would prefer to meet someone without them or whose children do not live at home. Just think of the things we could get into.
